Abstract

The subject matter of this specification can be implemented in, among other things, methods, systems, computer-readable storage medium. A method can include receiving, by a processing device, image data including one or more image frames indicative of a current state of a drive-thru area. The processing device determines a vehicle disposed within the drive-thru area based on the image data. The processing device receives order data with a pending meal order. The processing device determines a first association between the vehicle and the pending meal order based on the image data. The processing devices determine a meal delivery procedure associated with the based on the association between the vehicle and the pending meal order. The processing device performs may perform the meal delivery procedure. The processing device may provide the meal delivery procedure for display on a graphical user interface (GUI).

4. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

obtaining second image data indicative of a state of a meal preparation area, wherein the meal preparation area is associated with preparing a meal corresponding to the pending meal order; and

determining an item or action associated with the meal corresponding to the pending meal order, wherein the order preparation fault is based on the item or action associated with the meal.

5. The method of claim 1 , further comprising determining, based on the first image data, that the first vehicle is disposed in a first portion of the vehicle access area, wherein the first portion of the vehicle access area is associated with a first meal ordering apparatus, and wherein determining an association between the pending meal order and the first vehicle is performed based on determining that the first vehicle is disposed in the first portion of the vehicle access area.

6. The method of claim 1 , wherein determining the first vehicle is disposed in the vehicle access area comprises:

providing the first image data as input to a trained machine learning model; and

obtaining one or more outputs of the trained machine learning model indicative of the first vehicle disposed in the vehicle access area.

7. A non-transitory machine-readable storage medium storing instructions which, when executed, cause a processing device to perform operations comprising:

obtaining first image data indicative of a state of a vehicle access area;

identifying a first vehicle disposed in the vehicle access area based on the first image data;

obtaining order data indicative of a pending meal order;

determining an association between the pending meal order and the first vehicle;

determining that an order preparation fault has occurred in association with the pending meal order; and

performing a corrective action in view of the order preparation fault, wherein the corrective action comprises one or more of:

providing a first alert indicative of the order preparation fault via a device proximate a meal preparation area associated with preparing a meal corresponding to the pending meal order, or

providing a second alert via a device proximate the vehicle access area, wherein the second alert comprises an instruction for a user to relocate the first vehicle to a holding bay.

8. The non-transitory machine-readable storage medium of claim 7 , wherein the operations further comprise:

obtaining first pacing data indicative of a predicted time of completion of a meal associated with the pending meal order; and

obtaining second pacing data indicative of a rate of advancement of a plurality of vehicles disposed within the vehicle access area, wherein the corrective action is further performed in view of the first pacing data and the second pacing data.

9. The non-transitory machine-readable storage medium of claim 7 , wherein the order preparation fault comprises one or more of:

inclusion of an incorrect item in a meal corresponding to the pending meal order;

predicted delivery of the meal corresponding to the pending meal order to a second vehicle, different than the first vehicle; or

a difference in time, exceeding a threshold difference, between predicted completion of preparation of the meal corresponding to the pending meal order and predicted arrival of the first vehicle to a meal delivery area.

10. The non-transitory machine-readable storage medium of claim 7 , wherein the operations further comprise:

obtaining second image data indicative of a state of a meal preparation area, wherein the meal preparation area is associated with preparing a meal corresponding to the pending meal order; and

determining an item or action associated with the meal corresponding to the pending meal order, wherein the order preparation fault is based on the item or action associated with the meal.

11. The non-transitory machine-readable storage medium of claim 7 , wherein the operations further comprise determining, based on the first image data, that the first vehicle is disposed in a first portion of the vehicle access area, wherein the first portion of the vehicle access area is associated with a first meal ordering apparatus, and wherein determining an association between the pending meal order and the first vehicle is performed based on determining that the first vehicle is disposed in the first portion of the vehicle access area.

12. The non-transitory machine-readable storage medium of claim 7 , wherein determining the first vehicle is disposed in the vehicle access area comprises:

providing the first image data as input to a trained machine learning model; and obtaining one or more outputs of the trained machine learning model indicative of the first vehicle disposed in the vehicle access area.

13. A system, comprising memory and a processing device coupled to the memory, wherein the processing device is configured to:
