Abstract

Systems, methods, and apparatus are described herein for determining a location from anonymous data. For example, a computing device may receive anonymous data associated with a browser session initialized by a user via a browser on a user computing device. The computing device may determine that the user has not been assigned a unique identifier. The computing device may determine whether the user opted-in to location tracking. If the user opted-out of location tracking, the computing device may determine a latitude coordinate and a longitude coordinate of the user computing device during the browser session. The computing device may identify a physical address for the user based on the latitude coordinate and the longitude coordinate, for example, using a map application programming interface (API). The computing device may assign the unique identifier to the user. The computing device may associate the unique identifier to the physical address.

Claims (60)

1. A method comprising:

receiving, by a first computing device, vehicle information associated with a vehicle;

determining a vehicle age and a vehicle mileage based on the received vehicle information;

determining whether the vehicle age is greater than a threshold age;

determining whether the vehicle mileage is greater than a threshold mileage;

identifying prior service information for the vehicle;

determining a health score limit for the vehicle when the vehicle age is greater than the threshold age or the vehicle mileage is greater than the threshold mileage;

determining a health score for the vehicle based on the vehicle age, the vehicle mileage, and the prior service information for the vehicle, wherein the determined health score is lower than the determined health score limit;

implementing one or more gamification features, into a graphical user interface (GUI) to be displayed on a second computing device of an operator of the vehicle, associated with motivating participation of the operator of the vehicle in entering vehicle information;

receiving, by the first computing device, confirmation from the second computing device of the operator of the vehicle that a service was performed on the vehicle;

updating the health score based on receipt of the confirmation from the computing device of the operator of the vehicle that the service was performed on the vehicle;

determining a future estimated health score for the vehicle based on a daily drive rate of the vehicle;

receiving anonymous data associated with a browser session initialized by the operator via a browser on the second computing device;

determining that the operator accessed a uniform resource locator (URL) during the browser session;

determining a latitude coordinate and a longitude coordinate of the second computing device, during the browser session, wherein the latitude coordinate and the longitude coordinate are determined based on the anonymous data upon determining that the operator opted-out of location tracking, and wherein the latitude coordinate and the longitude coordinate are determined based on geo-location data retrieved from the second computing device upon determining that the operator opted-in to location tracking;

identifying a physical address for the operator based on the determined latitude coordinate and the determined longitude coordinate using a map application programming interface (API);

generating a user profile for the operator using the unique identifier and physical address, the user profile comprising profile information that comprises one or more URLs the operator has accessed, the frequency with which the operator accessed the URL(s), demographics associated with the operator, the address(es) associated with the operator, or the devices associated with the operator;

identifying whether the vehicle has been serviced by a specific service provider within a predetermined time period;

when the vehicle has not been serviced by the specific service provider within the predetermined time period, determining whether the second computing device of the operator has visited a website associated with the specific service provider; and

sending a notification from the first computing device to the second computing device of the operator of the vehicle based on one or more of the determined health score, the updated health score, the future estimated health score, or the second computing device of the operator having visited the website associated with the specific service provider.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the prior service information includes a type of service performed.

3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the determined health score is determined using a number of miles driven since a last performed service.

4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the notification comprises a service reminder or a service coupon when the determined health score is less than or equal to a predefined health threshold.

5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the notification comprises a marketing notification when the determined health score is greater than a predefined health threshold.

6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the determined health score indicates a preventive care rating for the vehicle.

7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the prior service information comprises default service information for the vehicle.

8. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

determining that the service was performed on the vehicle.

9. The method of claim 1 , wherein the vehicle information comprises one or more of a manufacturing date, a model year, a make of the vehicle, a model of the vehicle, or a vehicle identification number (VIN).

10. The method of claim 1 , further comprising determining, based on the location data, whether the second computing device anonymously visited the website associated with the specific service provider.

11. A non-transitory, machine-readable storage device that includes instructions that, when executed by a first computing device, cause the first computing device to:

receive vehicle information associated with a vehicle;

determine a vehicle age and a vehicle mileage based on the received vehicle information;

determine whether the vehicle age is greater than a threshold age;

determine whether the vehicle mileage is greater than a threshold mileage;

identify prior service information for the vehicle;

determine a health score limit for the vehicle when the vehicle age is greater than the threshold age or the vehicle mileage is greater than the threshold mileage;

determine a health score for the vehicle based on the vehicle age, the vehicle mileage, and the prior service information for the vehicle, wherein the determined health score is lower than the determined health score limit;

implement one or more gamification features, into a graphical user interface (GUI) to be displayed on a second computing device of an operator of the vehicle, associated with motivating participation of the operator of the vehicle in entering vehicle information;

receive confirmation from the second computing device of the operator of the vehicle that a service was performed on the vehicle;

update the health score based on receipt of the confirmation from the computing device of the operator of the vehicle that the service was performed on the vehicle;

determine a future estimated health score for the vehicle based on a daily drive rate of the vehicle;

receive anonymous data associated with a browser session initialized by the operator via a browser on the second computing device;

determine that the operator accessed a uniform resource locator (URL) during the browser session;

determine a latitude coordinate and a longitude coordinate of the second computing device, during the browser session, wherein the latitude coordinate and the longitude coordinate are determined based on the anonymous data upon determining that the operator opted-out of location tracking, and wherein the latitude coordinate and the longitude coordinate are determined based on geo-location data retrieved from the second computing device upon determining that the operator opted-in to location tracking;

identify a physical address for the operator based on the determined latitude coordinate and the determined longitude coordinate using a map application programming interface (API);

generate a user profile for the operator using the unique identifier and physical address, the user profile comprising profile information that comprises one or more URLs the operator has accessed, the frequency with which the operator accessed the URL(s), demographics associated with the operator, the address(es) associated with the operator, or the devices associated with the operator;

identify whether the vehicle has been serviced by a specific service provider within a predetermined time period; and

when the vehicle has not been service by the specific service provider within the predetermined time period, determine whether the second computing device of the operator has visited a website associated with the specific service provider; and

send a notification to the second computing device of the operator of the vehicle based on one or more of the determined health score, the updated health score, the future estimated health score, or the second computing device of the operator having visited the website associated with the specific service provider.

12. The non-transitory, machine-readable storage device of claim 11 , wherein the prior service information includes a type of service performed.

13. The non-transitory, machine-readable storage device of claim 11 , wherein the determined health score is determined using a number of miles driven since a last performed service.

14. The non-transitory, machine-readable storage device of claim 11 , wherein the notification comprises a service reminder or a service coupon when the determined health score is less than or equal to a predefined health threshold.

15. The non-transitory, machine-readable storage device of claim 11 , wherein the notification comprises a marketing notification when the determined health score is greater than a predefined health threshold.

16. The non-transitory, machine-readable storage device of claim 11 , wherein the determined health score indicates a preventive care rating for the vehicle.

17. The non-transitory, machine-readable storage device of claim 11 , wherein the prior service information comprises default service information for the vehicle.

18. The non-transitory, machine-readable storage device of claim 11 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the computing device, cause the computing device to:

determine that the service was performed on the vehicle.

19. The non-transitory, machine-readable storage device of claim 11 , wherein the vehicle information comprises one or more of a manufacturing date, a model year, a make of the vehicle, a model of the vehicle, or a vehicle identification number (VIN).

20. The non-transitory, machine-readable storage device of claim 11 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the computing device, cause the computing device to determine, based on the location data, whether the second computing device anonymously visited the website associated with the specific service provider.
