OXYSTEROLS AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
Compounds are provided according to Formula (I) and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, and pharmaceutical compositions thereof; wherein R 1 , R 2 , and R 3 are as defined herein. Compounds of the present invention are contemplated useful for the prevention and treatment of a variety of conditions.
1 . A compound of Formula (I):
or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein:
R 1 is substituted or unsubstituted C 1-6 alkyl;
R 2 is substituted or unsubstituted C 1-6 alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted carbocyclyl, or substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclyl;
R 5 is absent or hydrogen; and
represents a single or double bond, wherein when one is a double bond, the other is a single bond and R 5 is absent.

3 . The compound of claim 1 , or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein R 1 is substituted C 1-6 alkyl.
4 . The compound of claim 1 , or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein R 1 is unsubstituted C 1-6 alkyl.
5 . The compound of claim 1 , or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein R 1 is —CH 3 , —CF 3 , —CH 2 OCH 3 , —CH(CH 3 )(CF 3 ), ethyl, or isopropyl.
6 . The compound of claim 1 , or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein R 1 is —CH 3 or —CH 2 CH 3 .
7 . The compound of claim 1 , or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein R 2 is substituted or unsubstituted C 1-6 alkyl or substituted or unsubstituted carbocyclyl.
8 . The compound of claim 1 , or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein R 2 is methyl, ethyl, isopropyl, or cyclopropyl.
9 . The compound of claim 1 , or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein R 2 is substituted or unsubstituted carbocyclyl or substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclyl.
10 . The compound of claim 9 , or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein R 2 is cyclopropyl, cyclobutyl, cyclopentyl, cyclohexyl.
11 . The compound of claim 9 , or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein R 2 is an oxygen-containing heterocycle (e.g., tetrahydropyran).
12 . The compound of claim 1 , or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein represents a single bond.
13 . The compound of claim 1 , wherein the compound of Formula (I) is a compound of Formula (I-A) or Formula (I-B):
or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
14 . The compound of claim 1 , wherein the compound of Formula (I) is a compound of Formula (II):
or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
