Abstract

A system for Vehicle-to-Everything (V2E) communication includes servers configured to communicate over a Wide Area Network with one local signaling device of a vehicle in a real-time or near real-time. The servers are further configured to register the local signaling device of the vehicle to utilize third-party provided functions provided by third party devices or sensors coupled to, or operating on a same Local Area Network as, the local signaling device, the third-party devices or sensors selectable by a registering entity from a plurality of third-party devices or sensors. The registration includes configuring predefined steps to be taken by the servers in connection with the third party-provided functions of the third-party devices or sensors. The servers are further configured to receive a communication signal from the local signaling device of the vehicle, and in response to receiving the communication signal, execute the predefined steps.

2. The system of claim 1 , wherein said at least one local signaling device is communicatively coupled to one or more external sensors of the vehicle, and wherein said one or more external sensors comprises at least one of a radar, a camera, and an ultrasonic sensor.

3. The system of claim 2 , wherein said one or more servers are further configured to cause the one or more external sensors of said vehicle to detect the traffic, road and weather information, or other potential hazards in the vicinity of said vehicle and automatically generate said communication signal upon detection of any potential hazard.

4. The system of claim 1 , wherein said one or more third party external event sensors comprise at least one of a radar, a camera, and an ultrasonic sensor of one or more other vehicles operating in the same Local area Network as the vehicle.

5. The system of claim 1 , wherein said one or more third party output devices or external event sensors comprise traffic cameras, weather sensors, road sensors, or other type of sensors or devices configured to sense and communicate information related to the traffic, the road and weather conditions, or the other potential hazards.

6. The system of claim 1 , wherein said one or more servers are further configured to receive another communication signal from said one or more third-party output devices or external event sensors.

7. The system of claim 6 , wherein said communication signal further comprises a second piece of information obtained from said one or more third-party output devices or external event sensors.

8. The system of claim 7 , wherein said second piece of information comprises the traffic, road, or weather information, or other potential hazards in a vicinity of said one or more third-party output devices or external event sensors.

9. The system of claim 7 , wherein said one or more servers are further configured to communicate said first piece of information and said second piece of information to each local signaling device operating in the same Local Area Network.

10. The system of claim 1 , wherein said Wide Area Network is a cellular network.

11. The system of claim 1 , wherein Vehicle-to-Everything (V2E) communication comprises at least one of Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) communication, Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2I) communication, Vehicle-to-Pedestrian (V2P) communication, Vehicle-to-Network (V2N) communication, and Vehicle-to-Device (V2D) communication.

12. The system of claim 1 , wherein the one or more servers are further configured to acquire vehicle data from a plurality of local signaling devices over the Wide Area Network, wherein the vehicle data comprises at least engine monitoring data.

13. The system of claim 1 , wherein the one or more servers are further configured to execute a training of an artificial intelligence-based analysis model that is configured to predict an engine and gearbox failure based on the acquired vehicle data.

14. The system of claim 1 , wherein the one or more servers are further configured to recommend an actionable insight to take a preventive action when an engine and gearbox failure is predicted associated with the vehicle or other vehicles.

15. A method for Vehicle-to-Everything (V2E) communication, the method comprising:

communicating, by one or more servers, over a Wide Area Network with at least one local signaling device of a vehicle in a real-time or near real-time;

registering, by said one or more servers, said at least one local signaling device of the vehicle to utilize functions provided by one or more third party output devices or external event sensors coupled to, or operating on a same Local Area Network as, said at least one local signaling device, said one or more third party output devices or external event sensors selectable by a registering entity from a plurality of third-party output devices or external event sensors,

said registration comprising configuring, at least in part, through user data entry into a web-based interface, a set of predefined steps to be taken by said one or more servers in connection with third party-provided functions of said one or more third party output devices or external event sensors;

receiving, by said one or more servers, a communication signal from said at least one local signaling device of the vehicle, said communication signal is a Vehicle-to-Everything communication signal that comprises a first piece of information that includes traffic, road, or weather information, or other potential hazards information in a vicinity of said at least one local signaling device; and

in response to receiving said communication signal, executing, by said one or more servers, at least one of said set of predefined steps, wherein said execution comprises communicating instructions to said one or more third party output devices to provide said first piece of information to other local signaling devices in a vicinity of the vehicle and communicating an encrypted message to a specific third-party output device of said one or more third party output devices based on a user input at the vehicle that corresponds to said communication signal.
