Abstract

New soybean variety designated ‘ 10020889166 ’ is a soybean variety exhibiting stability and uniformity.

Claims (17)

. A soybean seed designated as ‘10020889166’, representative sample of seed having been deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-127941.

. A soybean plant produced by growing the seed of claim 1 .

. A plant part from the plant of claim 2 .

. The plant part of claim 3 , wherein said part is a pollen grain, ovule, protoplast, cell, embryo, cotyledon, hypocotyl, meristem, root, pistil, anther, flower, stem, pod, leaf, petiole, callus, rootstock, scion, cutting, stem, ovary, pericarp, embryo sac, microspore, or a portion thereof.

. The plant part of claim 4 , wherein said part is a pod.

. A soybean plant having all the physiological and morphological characteristics of the soybean plant of claim 2 .

. A plant part from the plant of claim 6 .

. The plant part of claim 7 , wherein said part is a pollen grain, ovule, protoplast, cell, embryo, cotyledon, hypocotyl, meristem, root, pistil, anther, flower, stem, pod, leaf, petiole, callus, rootstock, scion, cutting, stem, ovary, pericarp, embryo sac, microspore, or a portion thereof.

. The plant part of claim 8 , wherein said part is a pod.

. An F 1 hybrid soybean plant having ‘10020889166’ as a parent wherein ‘10020889166’ is grown from the seed of claim 1 .

. A pollen grain or an ovule of the plant of claim 2 .

. A tissue culture of the plant of claim 2 .

. A soybean plant regenerated from the tissue culture of claim 12 , wherein the plant has all of the morphological and physiological characteristics of a soybean plant produced by growing seed designated as ‘10020889166’ having ATCC Accession Number PTA-127941.

. A method of making soybean seeds, said method comprising crossing the plant of claim 2 with another soybean plant and harvesting seed therefrom.

. A method of producing a commodity plant product, said method comprising obtaining the plant of claim 2 or a part thereof and producing said commodity plant product therefrom.

. The method of claim 15 , wherein the commodity plant product is protein concentrate, protein isolate, hulls, meal, flour, or oil.

. A method of making a soybean variety designated as ‘10020889166’, said method comprising selecting seeds from the cross of one ‘10020889166’ plant with another ‘10020889166’ plant, a sample of ‘10020889166’ soybean seed having been deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-127941.
