Data signaling for wireless communication networks
A method of operating a transmitting radio node in a wireless communication network. The method comprises transmitting a data block utilising a plurality of transmission sources, wherein different parts of the data block are transmitted utilising different transmission resources. The disclosure also pertains to related devices and methods.
1 . A method of operating a transmitting radio node in a wireless communication network, the method comprising:
transmitting a data block utilising a plurality of transmission sources, different parts of the data block being transmitted utilizing different transmission resources; and the data block being transmitted utilising an interlinking modulation, where interlinked modulation symbols are transmitted utilising the same transmission source, the interlinking modulation being a modulation in which some modulation symbols are dependent on one or more other modulation symbols.
2 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the data block is transmitted utilising a DFT-s-OFDM based waveform.
3 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the data block is transmitted utilising a modulation from a set of modulations, the set including at least one interlinking modulation.
4 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the data block is transmitted utilising pi/2*BPSK modulation.
5 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the data block is a code block bundle or transport block.
6 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein to different transmission sources, there are associated different reference signaling sequences.
7 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein bits of the data block are mapped to layers before performing modulation.
8 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the data block is transmitted in a data signaling transmission time interval consisting of one or more allocation units.
9 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the data block is mapped based on a time domain mapping before a symbol domain mapping.
10 . A transmitting radio node for a wireless communication network, the transmitting radio node configured to:
transmit a data block utilising a plurality of transmission sources, different parts of the data block being transmitted utilizing different transmission resources; and
the data block being transmitted utilising an interlinking modulation, where interlinked modulation symbols are transmitted utilising the same transmission source, the interlinking modulation being a modulation in which some modulation symbols are dependent on one or more other modulation symbols.
11 . A method of operating a receiving radio node in a wireless communication network, the method comprising:
receiving a data block transmitted utilising a plurality of transmission sources, different parts of the data block being transmitted utilizing different transmission resources; and
the data block being transmitted utilising an interlinking modulation, where interlinked modulation symbols are transmitted utilising the same transmission source, the interlinking modulation being a modulation in which some modulation symbols are dependent on one or more other modulation symbols.
12 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein the data block is transmitted utilising a DFT-s-OFDM based waveform.
13 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein the data block is transmitted utilising a modulation from a set of modulations, the set including at least one interlinking modulation.
14 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein the data block is transmitted utilising pi/2*BPSK modulation.
15 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein the data block is a code block bundle or transport block.
16 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein to different transmission sources, there are associated different reference signaling sequences.
17 . A receiving radio node for a wireless communication network, the receiving radio node configured to:
receive a data block transmitted utilising a plurality of transmission sources, different parts of the data block being transmitted utilizing different transmission resources; and
the data block being transmitted utilising an interlinking modulation, where interlinked modulation symbols are transmitted utilising the same transmission source, the interlinking modulation being a modulation in which some modulation symbols are dependent on one or more other modulation symbols.
18 . A non-transitory computer storage medium storing a computer program comprising instructions causing processing circuitry to one or both control and perform a method, the method comprising:
transmitting a data block utilising a plurality of transmission sources, different parts of the data block being transmitted utilizing different transmission resources; and
the data block being transmitted utilising an interlinking modulation, where interlinked modulation symbols are transmitted utilising the same transmission source, the interlinking modulation being a modulation in which some modulation symbols are dependent on one or more other modulation symbols.
