Abstract

Systems and methods for the design, deployment and utilization of targeted multimedia communications based upon audiences are disclosed. More specifically, embodiments may allow the targeting of communications to users in multiple media formats from the same multimedia communication templates and the delivery of such communications to users through multiple communication channels.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the first segment comprises a reference to a first background image and the second segment comprises a reference to a second background image, further comprising:

designing the first segment to output the referenced first background image; and

designing the second segment to output the referenced second background image.

3. The method of claim 1 , wherein each of the multi-media assets comprises a content type, the content type comprising: text, imagery, audio, and video.

4. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

generating in the first segment a reference to first text;

generating in the second segment a reference to second text;

designing the first segment to output speech-to-text content based on the first text; and

designing the second segment to output speech-to-text content based on the second text.

5. The method of claim 1 , wherein:

accessing a plurality of multimedia assets comprises accessing the plurality of multimedia assets from a content management system; and

accessing a plurality of content generation parameters comprises accessing the plurality of content generation parameters from a communications management system.

6. The method of claim 5 , wherein:

generating the first segment of the content at the first time is further based on the content generation parameters values retrieved from the communications management system at the first time; and

generating the second segment of the content at the second time is further based on the content generation parameters values retrieved from the communications management system at the second time.

7. The method of claim 6 , wherein the content generation parameters are based on a target audience managed by the communications management system.

8. A system for generating time-based content segments, comprising:

a processor; and

a non-transitory memory coupled to the processor and comprising instructions executable by the processor for:

defining content comprising a first segment for outputting at a first time and a second segment for outputting at a second time, the first segment referencing one or more multimedia assets and the second segment referencing one or more multi-media assets;

accessing a plurality of multimedia assets;

accessing a plurality of content generation parameters;

generating in the first segment a reference to one or more of the accessed multi-media assets;

generating in the second segment a reference to one or more of the accessed multi-media assets;

designing the first segment to output the referenced one or more multi-media assets based on one or more of the accessed content generation parameters;

designing the second segment to output the referenced one or more multi-media assets based on one or more of the accessed content generation parameters, wherein a template corresponding to the segments are designed on a frame-by-frame basis; and

generating the content comprising:

generating the first segment of the content at the first time; and

generating the second segment of the content at the second time.

9. The system of claim 8 , wherein the first segment comprises a reference to a first background image and the second segment comprises a reference to a second background image, the instructions further executable by the processor for:

designing the first segment to output the referenced first background image; and

designing the second segment to output the referenced second background image.

10. The system of claim 8 , wherein each of the multi-media assets comprises a content type, the content type comprising: audio, textual, imagery, video, and audio-video.

11. The system of claim 8 , the instructions further executable by the processor for:

generating in the first segment a reference to first text;

generating in the second segment a reference to second text;

designing the first segment to output speech-to-text content based on the first text; and

designing the second segment to output speech-to-text content based on the second text.

12. The system of claim 8 , wherein:

accessing a plurality of multimedia assets comprises accessing the plurality of multimedia assets from a content management system; and

accessing a plurality of content generation parameters comprises accessing the plurality of content generation parameters from a communications management system.

13. The system of claim 12 , wherein:

generating the first segment of the content at the first time is further based on the content generation parameters values retrieved from the communications management system at the first time; and

generating the second segment of the content at the second time is further based on the content generation parameters values retrieved from the communications management system at the second time.

14. The method of claim 13 , wherein the content generation parameters are based on a target audience managed by the communications management system.

15. A computer program product for generating time-based content segments, the computer program product stored in a non-transitory computer readable medium and comprising instructions for:

defining content comprising a first segment for outputting at a first time and a second segment for outputting at a second time, the first segment referencing one or more multimedia assets and the second segment referencing one or more multi-media assets;
