Abstract

A signal processing device for reproducing a musical piece from one or more loudspeakers and one or more actuators that are provided in a seat includes: an obtainer that obtains data of the musical piece; and an outputter that outputs an acoustic signal of a first frequency band included in the data of the musical piece to the one or more actuators, and outputs an acoustic signal of a frequency band excluding the first frequency band to the one or more loudspeakers, the frequency band being included in the data of the musical piece. The first frequency band is a band including a resonance frequency of the one or more actuators.

Claims (24)

1 . A signal processing device for reproducing a musical piece from one or more loudspeakers and one or more actuators that are provided in a seat, the signal processing device comprising:

an obtainer that obtains data of the musical piece, the musical piece including a plurality of tracks; and

an outputter that:

outputs, to the one or more actuators, a first acoustic signal of a first frequency band included in a first track of the musical piece, wherein the first frequency band corresponds to a resonance frequency among a plurality of resonance frequencies of the one or more actuators, and

when a second acoustic signal of a second frequency band to be reproduced by the one or more loud speakers includes the first frequency band, modifies, via a filter and prior to transmission to the one or more loud speakers, the second acoustic signal to exclude only the first frequency band corresponding to the resonance frequency among the plurality of resonance frequencies for generating a modified second acoustic signal in a third frequency band, and outputs, to the one or more loudspeakers, the modified second acoustic signal in the third frequency band that excludes only the first frequency band corresponding to the resonance frequency among the plurality of resonance frequencies, the second frequency band being included in a second track of the musical piece, wherein

the one or more loudspeakers convert electric signals into a sound, and

the one or more actuators convert electric signals into a physical motion.

2 . The signal processing device according to claim 1 , wherein

the outputter outputs the first acoustic signal of the first frequency band to the one or more actuators by filtering the data of the musical piece.

3 . The signal processing device according to claim 1 , wherein

the outputter outputs the second acoustic signal of the third frequency band excluding the first frequency band to the one or more loudspeakers by filtering the data of the musical piece.

4 . The signal processing device according to claim 1 , wherein

the one or more actuators include:

a first actuator provided inside a seating surface of the seat, at a position corresponding to thighs of a person when the person is seated on the seat; or

a second actuator provided inside a seat back of the seat, at a position corresponding to a sacrum of the person when the person is seated on the seat, and

the one or more loudspeakers include a first loudspeaker provided inside the seat back of the seat, at a position corresponding to the thighs of the person when the person is seated on the seat.

5 . The signal processing device according to claim 1 , wherein

the outputter further outputs an ultrasonic signal to a loudspeaker provided inside a headrest of the seat or to a tweeter attached to the headrest.

6 . A signal processing method for reproducing a musical piece from one or more loudspeakers and one or more actuators that are provided in a seat, the signal processing method comprising:

obtaining data of the musical piece, the musical piece including a plurality of tracks;

outputting, to the one or more actuators, a first acoustic signal of a first frequency band included in a first track of the musical piece, wherein the first frequency band corresponds to a resonance frequency among a plurality of resonance frequencies of the one or more actuators;

when a second acoustic signal of a second frequency band to be reproduced by the one or more loud speakers includes the first frequency band, modifying, via a filter and prior to transmission to the one or more loud speakers, the second acoustic signal to exclude only the first frequency band corresponding to the resonance frequency among the plurality of resonance frequencies for generating a modified second acoustic signal in a third frequency band, and outputting, to the one or more loudspeakers, the modified second acoustic signal in the third frequency band that excludes only the first frequency band corresponding to the resonance frequency among the plurality of resonance frequencies, the second frequency band being included in a second track of the musical piece, wherein

the one or more loudspeakers convert electric signals into a sound, and

the one or more actuators convert electric signals into a physical motion.
