GAME TOKEN MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A controller of the table game management system is configured to be able to recognize that a bet chip bet by a winning player and a payout chip paid to the winning player are transferred outside a chip placement area, and associate, in a database, ID information of the payout chip with ID information of the bet chip transferred outside the chip placement area at the same timing as the payout chip, and includes a function to associate, in the database, ID information held by RFID of the payout chip with information about an owner of the bet chip indicated by RFID of the bet chip.
1 . A table game management system, comprising:
a chip with an RFID attached thereto, the RFID is individually identifiable;
a game table on which a game played using the chip;
a chip placement area on the game table where betting chips are placed by players participating in the game and payment chips are paid out by a dealer to winning players from a chip tray at the game table;
a chip reader configured to read the RFID of the chip placed in the chip placement area,
a control device configured to ascertain a result of a reading operation of the chip reader; and
a user identification device configured to identify a player who has bet the chip as a user by using facial recognition technology or by reading an ID card, and
wherein the control device is configured to:
obtain information about an owner of the chip based on the result of the chip reader, and
determine an abnormality when the identified user of the chip and the owner of the chip are different.
2 . The table game management system according to claim 1 , wherein the RFID of the chip stores the information about the owner of the chip, and
the control device is configured to obtain the information about the owner of the chip stored in the RFID of the chip.
3 . The table game management system according to claim 1 , further comprising:
a database in which information relating to the owner of the chip is stored in association with an ID of the chip,
wherein the ID of the chip is stored in the RFID of the chip, and
wherein the control device is configured to read the ID of the chip stored in the RFID of the chip and obtain the information about the owner of the chip stored in association with the ID of the chip based on the database.
4 . The table game management system according to claim 1 , wherein the control device is configured to:
recognize that a betting chip of a winning player and a payment chip paid out to the winning player move outside of the chip placement area, and
associate ID information of the payment chip and an ID of the betting chip that moved outside of the chip placement area at the same timing as the payment chip, and
the table game management system is configured to associate, in a database, the ID information of the RFID of the payment chip with the information on the owner of the betting chip indicated by the RFID of the betting chip.
5 . The table game management system according to claim 1 , wherein the chip placement area is compartmentalized for each player position, with a pay area for placing the payment chips for each player position, and
the chip reader is configured to be able to read the pay area separately for each player position.
6 . The table game management system according to claim 1 , wherein the control device is configured to obtain a history of location information of the chip based on the information on the RFID of the chip and determine whether there is any abnormality in the history of the location information.
