Abstract

The present disclosure provides a system for automatic loading or unloading and related methods, capable of achieving fully automated goods transportation. The system communicated with a first control device and a second control device provided on an autonomous vehicle. The system is configured to transmit a transportation instruction containing a designated destination to the second control device to control the autonomous vehicle to autonomously move to the designated destination; upon receiving a standby message, determine the first control device corresponding to the designated destination from a pre-stored correspondence between locations and first control devices; transmit an instruction to the determined first control device to control a device to load goods onto or unload goods from the autonomous vehicle; and upon receiving a completion message transmitted from the first control device, transmit a completion instruction to the second control device to control the autonomous vehicle to leave the designated destination.

Claims (53)

1 . A management system communicated with a first control device and a second control device provided on an autonomous vehicle, wherein the management system is configured to:

transmit a transportation instruction containing a designated destination to the second control device to control the autonomous vehicle to autonomously move to the designated destination;

upon receiving a standby message transmitted from the second control device, determine the first control device corresponding to the designated destination from a pre-stored correspondence between locations and first control devices, wherein the standby message contains the designated destination;

transmit an instruction to the determined first control device to control a device to load goods onto or unload goods from the autonomous vehicle; and

upon receiving a completion message transmitted from the first control device, transmit a completion instruction to the second control device to control the autonomous vehicle to leave the designated destination.

2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein

in response to the instruction being a loading instruction, the management system is further configured to:

determine a container number corresponding to the autonomous vehicle based on a pre-stored correspondence between vehicle identity information and container numbers; and

include the designated destination and the container number in the instruction, so that the first control device received the instruction control the device to load a container corresponding to the container number onto the autonomous vehicle located at the designated destination.

3 . The system of claim 1 , wherein

the transportation instruction further contains a transportation destination, and wherein

a driving route for the autonomous vehicle to move along is from the designated destination as a start point to the transportation destination as an end point.

4 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the transportation instruction indicates that a container is to be transported to the designated destination, or indicates that a container is to be loaded at the designated destination.

5 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the transportation instruction is based on a transportation task stored in the management system, and wherein the management system is further configured to:

upon receiving the completion message transmitted from the first control device, mark the transportation task as in a completed state or delete the transportation task.

6 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the second control device is an autonomous driving control device, wherein the first control device, the autonomous driving control device, and the management system communicate with each other using a Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) communication.

7 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the designated destination is a port area, a mining area, a logistics park, a warehouse, or a goods distribution center.

8 . A method, comprising:

receiving a transportation instruction containing a designated destination;

controlling an autonomous vehicle to autonomously move to the designated destination;

transmitting a standby message to a management system;

receiving a completion instruction; and

controlling the autonomous vehicle to leave the designated destination, wherein

in response to the transportation instruction indicating that a container is to be transported to the designated destination, the method further comprises controlling a fastener for fixing the container on the autonomous vehicle to be unlocked before transmitting the standby message to the management system, and wherein

in response to the transportation instruction indicating that a container is to be loaded at the designated destination, the method further comprises controlling the fastener on the autonomous vehicle to be locked for fixing the loaded container after receiving the completion instruction.

9 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the controlling the autonomous vehicle to autonomously move to the designated destination comprises:

determining a driving route from a current position as a start point and the designated destination as an end point, and

controlling the autonomous vehicle to move from the current position to the designated destination along the driving route.

10 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the determining the driving route from the current position as the start point and the designated destination as the end point comprises:

planning the driving route from the current position as the start point and the designated destination as the end point based on pre-stored map data, or

obtaining from the transportation instruction the driving route from the current position to the designated destination.

11 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the transportation instruction further contains a transportation destination, and wherein the controlling the autonomous vehicle to leave the designated destination comprises:

determining a driving route from the designated destination as a start point and the transportation destination as an end point; and

controlling the autonomous vehicle to move from the designated destination to the transportation destination along the driving route.

12 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the designated destination is a port area, a mining area, a logistics park, a warehouse, or a goods distribution center.

13 . A non-transitory computer readable storage medium, comprising program instructions which, when executed by a processor of a computing device, cause the device to:

receive a transportation instruction containing a designated destination;

control an autonomous vehicle to autonomously move to the designated destination;

transmit a standby message to a management system;

receive a completion instruction; and

control the autonomous vehicle to leave the designated destination, wherein

in response to the transportation instruction indicating that a container is to be transported to the designated destination, the program instructions, when executed by the processor of the computing device, cause the device further to control a fastener for fixing the container on the autonomous vehicle to be unlocked before transmitting the standby message to the management system, and wherein

in response to the transportation instruction indicating that a container is to be loaded at the designated destination, the program instructions, when executed by the processor of the computing device, cause the device further to control the fastener on the autonomous vehicle to be locked for fixing the loaded container after receiving the completion instruction.

14 . The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 13 , wherein the program instructions, when executed by the processor of the computing device, cause the device further to:

determine a driving route from a current position as a start point and the designated destination as an end point, and

control the autonomous vehicle to move from the current position to the designated destination along the driving route.

15 . The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 14 , wherein the program instructions, when executed by the processor of the computing device, cause the device further to:

plan the driving route from the current position as the start point and the designated destination as the end point based on pre-stored map data, or

obtain from the transportation instruction the driving route from the current position to the designated destination.

16 . The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 13 , wherein the program instructions, when executed by the processor of the computing device, cause the device further to:

determine a driving route from the designated destination as a start point and the transportation destination as an end point; and

control the autonomous vehicle to move from the designated destination to the transportation destination along the driving route.

17 . The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 13 , wherein the designated destination is a port area, a mining area, a logistics park, a warehouse, or a goods distribution center.
