Adjustable Osteotomy Devices, Systems, and Methods for Treating Mid-Foot Disorders
Devices, systems and methods for surgical treatment of mid-foot disorders such as osteoarthritis, spacing disorders, or alignment disorders, including mid-foot arthroplasty devices and systems for the 2 nd and 3 rd tarsometatarsal (TMT) joint, implants for post-osteotomy spacing and + realignment, arthroplasty articular implants, dowel grafts for TMT arthrodesis or fusion, dowel grafts for navicular cuneiform (NC) arthrodesis, dowel grafts for intercuneiform arthrodesis, and/or locking dowels for joint fusion.
1 . A wedge osteotomy implant system, comprising a wedge implant sleeve and at least one of a plurality of shim inserts configured to be placed within the wedge implant sleeve.

The wedge osteotomy implant system of claim 1 , wherein the wedge implant sleeve further comprises a substantially U-shaped housing having lateral walls joined by a hinge region, and a central cavity between the lateral walls configured to receive at least one of the plurality of shim inserts therein.
3 . The wedge osteotomy implant system of claim 2 , wherein each of the plurality of shim inserts further comprises a tapered member having an angular taper along a longitudinal length thereof and at least one interface member on at least one side wall of the tapered member.
4 . The wedge osteotomy implant system of claim 3 , wherein the lateral walls further each further comprise at least one recess configured to engage with the at least one interface member.
5 . The wedge osteotomy implant system of claim 2 , wherein each of the lateral walls of the wedge implant sleeve have openings passing therethrough.
6 . The wedge osteotomy implant system of claim 3 , wherein the lateral walls of the wedge implant sleeve have openings passing therethrough and are configured to engage with the at least one interface member of the tapered member.
7 . The wedge osteotomy implant system of claim 2 , wherein each of the lateral walls of the wedge implant sleeve further comprise an osseo-integration material.
8 . The wedge osteotomy implant system of claim 6 , wherein the osseo-integration material further comprises at least one of porous titanium, porous titanium alloy, porous tantalum, and porous tantalum alloy.
9 . The wedge osteotomy implant system of claim 2 , wherein the lateral walls and hinge region of the wedge implant sleeve are made of a biocompatible material selected from the group of titanium, tantalum, polyether ether ketone, and nickel-titanium alloy.
10 . The wedge osteotomy implant system of claim 1 , wherein the wedge implant sleeve further comprises a shape memory or superelastic material.
11 . The wedge osteotomy implant system of claim 2 , wherein the hinge region has a first wall thickness and the lateral walls have a second wall thickness, wherein the first wall thickness is less than the second wall thickness.
12 . The wedge osteotomy implant system of claim 2 , wherein each of the plurality of shims has an angular taper between about 2 degrees and about 20 degrees.
13 . The wedge osteotomy implant system of claim 2 , wherein each of the plurality of shims has an angular taper between about 6 degrees and 14 degrees.
14 . The wedge osteotomy implant system of claim 2 , wherein the plurality of shims are angular tapers in 1 degree to 5-degree increments.
15 . The wedge osteotomy implant system of claim 2 , wherein each of the plurality of shims have indicia markings corresponding to the angular taper of the respective shim.
16 . A wedge osteotomy implant system, comprising wedge implant sleeve having a substantially U-shape having lateral walls joined by a hinge region, and a central cavity between the lateral walls and at least one of a plurality of shim inserts configured to be placed within the central cavity of the wedge implant sleeve.
17 . The wedge osteotomy implant system of claim 16 , wherein each of the plurality of shim inserts further comprises a tapered member having an angular taper along a longitudinal length thereof and at least one interface member on at least one side wall of the tapered member.
18 . The wedge osteotomy implant system of claim 17 , wherein the lateral walls further each further comprise at least one recess configured to engage with the at least one interface member.
19 . The wedge osteotomy implant system of claim 16 , wherein each of the lateral walls of the wedge implant sleeve have openings passing therethrough.
20 . The wedge osteotomy implant system of claim 18 , wherein the lateral walls of the wedge implant sleeve have openings passing therethrough and are configured to engage with the at least one interface member of the tapered member.
21 . The wedge osteotomy implant system of claim 16 , wherein each of the lateral walls of the wedge implant sleeve further comprise an osseo-integration material.
