METHODS AND COMPOSITIONS FOR TREATMENT OF DISORDERS AMELIORATED BY MUSCARINIC RECEPTOR ACTIVATION
The present disclosure provides a method of treating a central nervous system disorder in a patient in need thereof. The method comprises orally administering between 75 mg and 300 mg xanomeline salt and between 20 mg and 200 mg trospium chloride to the patient during a 24-hour period, the central nervous system disorder being selected from schizophrenia, Alzheimer's disease, Huntington's disease, Parkinson's disease, and Lewy Body dementia, wherein use of the trospium chloride alleviates a side effect associated with use of the xanomeline salt.

32 . An oral immediate release medicament comprising:
an amount of xanomeline, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, from 1 mg to 1000 mg;
an amount of trospium chloride from 1 mg to 400 mg; and
one or more pharmaceutically acceptable carriers.
33 . The oral immediate release medicament of claim 32 , wherein the amount of trospium chloride is from 2.5 mg to 200 mg.
34 . The oral immediate release medicament of claim 33 , wherein the amount of xanomeline, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, is from 25 mg to 300 mg.
35 . The oral immediate release medicament of claim 34 , wherein the amount of xanomeline, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, is from 25 mg to 75 mg and the amount of trospium chloride is from 2.5 mg to 20 mg.
36 . The oral immediate release medicament of claim 32 , wherein the amount of xanomeline, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, is from 75 mg to 225 mg and the amount of trospium chloride is from 20 mg to 60 mg.
37 . The oral immediate release medicament of claim 32 , wherein the amount of xanomeline, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, is from 25 mg to 225 mg and the amount of trospium chloride is from 20 mg to 60 mg.
38 . The oral immediate release medicament of claim 32 , wherein the amount of xanomeline, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, is 75 mg and the amount of trospium chloride is 20 mg.
39 . The oral immediate release medicament of claim 32 , wherein the amount of xanomeline, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, is from 25 mg to 300 mg and the amount of trospium chloride is from 6.5 mg to 200 mg.
40 . The oral immediate release medicament of claim 32 , wherein the medicament is provided as one dosage form.
41 . The oral immediate release medicament of claim 32 , wherein the medicament is provided as a capsule.
42 . The oral immediate release medicament of claim 33 , wherein the medicament is provided as a capsule.
43 . The oral immediate release medicament of claim 34 , wherein the medicament is provided as a capsule.
