Abstract

The present disclosure discloses an apparatus comprising: a backrest; a side impact protection block movably fitted to the backrest between a folding position and an unfolding position; and a self-locking structure fitted to the side impact protection block or the backrest, the self-locking structure being configured to block the side impact protection block in the unfolding position from switching to the folding position. The self-locking structure comprises a self-locking member and a self-locking reset member, the self-locking member being fitted to the backrest or the side impact protection block, the self-locking reset member being configured to apply a force to the self-locking member to drive it into an extended position that blocks the side impact protection block in the unfolding position from switching to the folding position.

Claims (37)

1. An apparatus comprising:

a backrest;

a side impact protection block movably fitted to the backrest between a folding position and an unfolding position; and

a self-locking structure fitted to the side impact protection block or the backrest, the self-locking structure being configured to block the side impact protection block in the unfolding position from switching to the folding position;

wherein the self-locking structure comprises a self-locking member and a self-locking reset member, the self-locking member being fitted to the backrest or the side impact protection block, the self-locking reset member being configured to apply a force to the self-locking member to drive it into an extended position that blocks the side impact protection block in the unfolding position from switching to the folding position, so that the side impact protection block cannot be switched to the folding position after its first use.

2. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the self-locking reset member comprises an elastic member provided between the self-locking member and the side impact protection block or the backrest.

3. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the side impact protection block comprises a side impact protection block body pivoted to the backrest and a blocking member coupled to the side impact protection block body.

4. The apparatus of claim 3 , wherein the blocking member is configurable between a blocking position and an avoidance position;

in the blocking position, the blocking member extends outward from the side impact protection block body; and

in the avoidance position, the blocking member retracts into the side impact protection block body.

5. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the self-locking member comprises an inclined surface positioned at a front end of the self-locking member and the inclined surface is angled relative to an extending direction of the self-locking member.

6. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the self-locking member is located on the side impact protection block, the self-locking member is configured to retract under a force exerted by the side impact protection block in the folding position.

7. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the side impact protection block is pivoted to the backrest.

8. An apparatus comprising:

a backrest;

a side impact protection block movably fitted to the backrest between a folding position and an unfolding position; and

a self-locking structure fitted to the side impact protection block or the backrest, the self-locking structure being configured to block the side impact protection block in the unfolding position from switching to the folding position;

wherein the self-locking structure comprises a self-locking member and a self-locking reset member, the self-locking member being fitted to the backrest or the side impact protection block, the self-locking reset member being configured to apply a force to the self-locking member to drive it into an extended position that blocks the side impact protection block in the unfolding position from switching to the folding position, so that the side impact protection block cannot be switched to the folding position after its first use; and

wherein the self-locking member comprises an inclined surface, and the inclined surface is angled relative to an extending direction of the self-locking member.

9. The apparatus of claim 8 , wherein the side impact protection block comprises a side impact protection block body pivoted to the backrest.

10. The apparatus of claim 8 , wherein the backrest comprises a lock fitting part configured to engage with the self-locking member when the side impact protection block is in the unfolding position.

11. The apparatus of claim 10 , wherein the backrest comprises a stopper configured to enclose the lock fitting part.

12. The apparatus of claim 8 , wherein the side impact protection block comprises a blocking member configurable between a blocking position and an avoidance position;

in the blocking position, the blocking member extends outward from the side impact protection block body; and

in the avoidance position, the blocking member retracts into the side impact protection block body.

13. The apparatus of claim 8 , wherein the self-locking reset member comprises an elastic member provided between the self-locking member and the side impact protection block or the backrest.

14. The apparatus of claim 8 , wherein the self-locking member is configured to retract under a force exerted by the side impact protection block in the folding position.

15. Apparatus of claim 8 , wherein the backrest comprises a metal sheet and the self-locking member inserts through the metal sheet.

16. The apparatus of claim 15 , wherein the self-locking reset member is provided between the self-locking member and the metal sheet.

17. An apparatus comprising:

a backrest;

a side impact protection block movably fitted to the backrest between a folding position and an unfolding position; and

a self-locking structure fitted to the side impact protection block or the backrest, the self-locking structure being configured to block the side impact protection block in the unfolding position from switching to the folding position;

wherein the self-locking structure comprises a self-locking member fitted to the backrest or the side impact protection block, the self-locking member being configurable in an extended position to block the side impact protection block in the unfolding position from switching to the folding position, so that the side impact protection block cannot be switched to the folding position after its first use.

18. The apparatus of claim 17 , wherein the self-locking member comprises a pin member or a block member.

19. The apparatus of claim 17 , wherein the side impact protection block is pivoted to the backrest.

20. The apparatus of claim 17 , wherein the self-locking member comprises an inclined surface, and the inclined surface is angled relative to an extending direction of the self-locking member.
