COMMUNICATION DESIGN SUPPORT APPARATUS, COMMUNICATION DESIGN SUPPORT METHOD AND PROGRAM
A communication design support apparatus includes: a propagation model storage unit that stores a propagation model; an acquisition unit that acquires data in which structure data containing coordinate data is associated with data indicating propagation loss in a plurality of frequency bands; an input receiving unit that receives input of a frequency band for which a radio field intensity is to be estimated; and an estimation unit that inputs the frequency band to the propagation model and estimates the propagation loss.
1 . A communication design support apparatus comprising:
a memory; and
a processor coupled to the memory and configured to:
store a propagation model in the memory;
acquire data in which structure data containing coordinate data is associated with data indicating propagation loss in a plurality of frequency bands;
receive input of a frequency band for which a radio field intensity is to be estimated; and
input the frequency band to the propagation model and estimate the propagation loss.
2 . The communication design support apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein
the processor is further configured to
update a parameter of the propagation model based on the data acquired in the plurality of frequency bands, and
estimate the propagation loss by inputting the frequency band into the propagation model having the updated parameter.
3 . The communication design support apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein
the processor is configured to
reflect a frequency characteristic by applying the propagation model to calculate electric field intensities in the plurality of frequency bands and update the parameter to a parameter that minimizes the propagation loss in the plurality of frequency bands based on the calculated electric field intensities.
4 . The communication design support apparatus according to claim 3 , wherein
the propagation model is a ray tracing model, and
the processor is configured to calculate the electric field intensities for each set of relative coordinates by ray tracing.
5 . The communication design support apparatus according to claim 3 , wherein
the propagation model is a statistical model, and
the processor is configured to calculate the electric field intensities for each set of relative coordinates according to a transmission-reception distance.
6 . A communication design support method performed by a computer storing a propagation model, the method comprising:
acquiring data in which structure data containing coordinate data is associated with data indicating propagation loss in a plurality of frequency bands; and
updating a parameter of the propagation model based on the acquired data.
7 . A non-transitory computer readable recording medium having a program embodied therein for causing a computer to perform the communication design support method of claim 6 .
