Wireless Communications And Power Configurations
Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for wireless communications. A wireless device may receive at least one power configuration parameter from a base station. The at least one power configuration parameter may be based on information that the wireless device sends to the base station.
1 . A method comprising:
receiving, by a base station distributed unit (DU), an indication of at least one wireless device preferred parameter for power saving; and
sending, by the base station DU to a wireless device, at least one configuration parameter that is based on the at least one wireless device preferred parameter for power saving.
2 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
determining, by the base station DU based on the indication of the at least one wireless device preferred parameter for power saving, the at least one configuration parameter.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the at least one configuration parameter comprises at least one of:
a cell configuration parameter of one or more cells of the base station DU;
a radio resource configuration parameter;
a beam configuration parameter;
a bandwidth part (BWP) configuration parameter;
a transmission power configuration parameter;
a frequency configuration parameter;
a beamforming configuration parameter;
a physical control channel scheduling parameter;
an antenna configuration parameter;
a cell selection configuration parameter;
a cell reselection configuration parameter;
system information;
an interference control parameter; and
a multicast-broadcast single frequency network (MBSFN) configuration parameter.
4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the at least one wireless device preferred parameter for power saving comprises a preference associated with discontinuous reception (DRX).
5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the receiving the indication comprises:
receiving, by the base station DU from the wireless device, a radio resource control (RRC) message;
sending, by the base station DU to a base station central unit (CU), the RRC message; and
receiving, by the base station DU from the base station CU, the indication of the at least one wireless device preferred parameter for power saving.
6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the sending the at least one configuration parameter comprises:
sending, by the base station DU to a base station central unit (CU), the at least one configuration parameter;
receiving, by the base station DU from the base station CU, a radio resource control (RRC) message comprising the at least one configuration parameter; and
sending, by the base station DU to the wireless device, the RRC message.
7 . A method comprising:
sending, by a wireless device to a base station distributed unit (DU), an indication of at least one wireless device preferred parameter for power saving; and
receiving, by the wireless device from the base station DU, at least one configuration parameter that is based on the at least one wireless device preferred parameter for power saving.
8 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the sending the indication of the at least one wireless device preferred parameter for power saving comprises:
sending, by the wireless device to the base station DU, a message comprising the at least one wireless device preferred parameter for power saving, and
wherein the message further comprises at least one of:
a wireless device identifier of the wireless device; or
a signaling radio bearer identifier associated with the message.
9 . The method of claim 7 , wherein the at least one configuration parameter comprises at least one of:
a cell configuration parameter of one or more cells of the base station DU;
a radio resource configuration parameter;
a beam configuration parameter;
a bandwidth part (BWP) configuration parameter;
a transmission power configuration parameter;
a frequency configuration parameter;
a beamforming configuration parameter;
a physical control channel scheduling parameter;
an antenna configuration parameter;
a cell selection configuration parameter;
a cell reselection configuration parameter;
system information;
an interference control parameter; and
a multicast-broadcast single frequency network (MBSFN) configuration parameter.
10 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the at least one wireless device preferred parameter for power saving comprises a preference associated with discontinuous reception (DRX).
11 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the sending the indication comprises:
sending, by the wireless device to the base station DU via a base station central unit (CU), a radio resource control (RRC) message comprising the indication of the at least one wireless device preferred parameter for power saving.
12 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the receiving the at least one configuration parameter comprises:
receiving, by wireless device from a base station central unit (CU) via the base station DU, a radio resource control (RRC) message comprising the at least one configuration parameter.
13 . A base station distributed unit (DU) comprising:
one or more processors; and
memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, configure the base station DU to:
receive an indication of at least one wireless device preferred parameter for power saving; and
send, to a wireless device, at least one configuration parameter that is based on the at least one wireless device preferred parameter for power saving.
14 . The base station DU of claim 13 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further configure the base station DU to:
determine, based on the indication of the at least one wireless device preferred parameter for power saving, the at least one configuration parameter.
15 . The base station DU of claim 13 , wherein the at least one configuration parameter comprises at least one of:
a cell configuration parameter of one or more cells of the base station DU;
a radio resource configuration parameter;
a beam configuration parameter;
a bandwidth part (BWP) configuration parameter;
a transmission power configuration parameter;
a frequency configuration parameter;
a beamforming configuration parameter;
a physical control channel scheduling parameter;
an antenna configuration parameter;
a cell selection configuration parameter;
a cell reselection configuration parameter;
system information;
an interference control parameter; and
a multicast-broadcast single frequency network (MBSFN) configuration parameter.
16 . The base station DU of claim 13 , wherein the at least one wireless device preferred parameter for power saving comprises a preference associated with discontinuous reception (DRX).
17 . The base station DU of claim 13 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, configure the base station DU to receive the indication by:
receiving, from the wireless device, a radio resource control (RRC) message;
sending, to a base station central unit (CU), the RRC message; and
receiving, from the base station CU, the indication of the at least one wireless device preferred parameter for power saving.
18 . The base station DU of claim 13 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, configure the base station DU to send the at least one configuration parameter by:
sending, to a base station central unit (CU), the at least one configuration parameter;
receiving, from the base station CU, a radio resource control (RRC) message comprising the at least one configuration parameter; and
sending, to the wireless device, the RRC message.
19 . A wireless device comprising:
one or more processors; and
memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, configure the wireless device to:
send, to a base station distributed unit (DU), an indication of at least one wireless device preferred parameter for power saving; and
receive, from the base station DU, at least one configuration parameter that is based on the at least one wireless device preferred parameter for power saving.
20 . The wireless device of claim 19 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, configure the wireless device to send the indication of the at least one wireless device preferred parameter for power saving by:
sending, to the base station DU, a message comprising the at least one wireless device preferred parameter for power saving, and
wherein the message further comprises at least one of:
a wireless device identifier of the wireless device; or
a signaling radio bearer identifier associated with the message.
21 . The wireless device of claim 19 , wherein the at least one configuration parameter comprises at least one of:
a cell configuration parameter of one or more cells of the base station DU;
a radio resource configuration parameter;
a beam configuration parameter;
a bandwidth part (BWP) configuration parameter;
a transmission power configuration parameter;
a frequency configuration parameter;
a beamforming configuration parameter;
a physical control channel scheduling parameter;
an antenna configuration parameter;
a cell selection configuration parameter;
a cell reselection configuration parameter;
system information;
an interference control parameter; and
a multicast-broadcast single frequency network (MBSFN) configuration parameter.
22 . The wireless device of claim 19 , wherein the at least one wireless device preferred parameter for power saving comprises a preference associated with discontinuous reception (DRX).
23 . The wireless device of claim 19 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, configure the wireless device to send the indication by:
sending, to the base station DU via a base station central unit (CU), a radio resource control (RRC) message comprising the indication of the at least one wireless device preferred parameter for power saving.
24 . The wireless device of claim 19 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, configure the wireless device to receive the at least one configuration parameter by:
receiving, from a base station central unit (CU) via the base station DU, a radio resource control (RRC) message comprising the at least one configuration parameter.
