Cloud computer system for controlling remote devices
In one embodiment, the present disclosure includes a cloud computing system for controlling a plurality of remote devices. The cloud computing system generates a set of instructions from a plurality of commands and corresponding operations to control the remote devices. In some embodiments, the system is used to automatically produce an item, such as a food item.
1 . A system comprising:
a cloud computing system comprising a plurality of servers configured to control a plurality of remote devices, the cloud computing system configured to:
associate a plurality of commands with a plurality of operations, wherein the plurality of remote devices are configured to execute one or more of the plurality of operations;
execute, based on an input to the cloud computing system, at least a first command and a second command, wherein when the first command, associated with one or more first operations corresponding to a first remote device, is executed in the cloud computing system, the cloud computing system generates first instructions including the one or more first operations for execution by the first remote device, and wherein when the second command, associated with one or more second operations corresponding to a second remote device, is executed in the cloud computing system, the cloud computing system generates second instructions including the one or more second operations for execution by the second remote device; and
send the first instructions and the second instructions to one or more servers coupled to the first remote device and the second remote device to cause the first remote device to execute the one or more first operations and cause the second remote device to execute the one or more second operations.
2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the first command and the second command coordinate at least portion of production of an item by the first and second remote devices.
3 . The system of claim 2 , wherein the item is a food item.
4 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the input to the cloud computing system invokes a first recipe of a plurality of recipes, and wherein the first command and the second command are steps of the first recipe.
5 . The system of claim 4 , wherein the plurality of recipes are food recipes comprising recipe steps, wherein the recipe steps are commands of the plurality of commands.
6 . The system of claim 1 , wherein at least one of the first command or the second command is a multistep command associated with a plurality of operations.

The system of claim 1 , wherein the cloud computing system comprises an instruction generator, wherein executing the first command causes the instruction generator to generate the first instructions including the one or more first operations, and wherein executing the second command causes the instruction generator to generate the second instructions including the one or more second operations.
8 . The system of claim 7 , wherein the instruction generator is a software service.
9 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the first instructions comprise a first device identification for the first remote device and the second instructions comprise a second device identification for the second remote device.
10 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the cloud computing system is further configured with a plurality of mappings, the plurality of mappings associating the plurality of commands, the plurality of operations, and the plurality of remote devices.
11 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the cloud computing system is further configured with a plurality of mappings, the plurality of mappings associating an ingredient with at least one of the plurality of remote devices.
12 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the cloud computing system is further configured to associate at least a portion of the plurality of commands with device specific operations and one or more corresponding parameters.
13 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the cloud computing system is further configured to associate particular groups of remote devices with particular locations.
14 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the cloud computing system is further configured to associate particular groups of remote devices with particular companies.
15 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the cloud computing system is further configured to associate particular groups of remote devices with particular recipes.
16 . The system of claim 1 , wherein one or more of the plurality of commands are natural language commands.
17 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of remote devices are configured in a cluster.
18 . The system of claim 1 , wherein at least one of the first and second remote devices is a robotic arm.
19 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the input to the cloud computing system is received from an application on a mobile device.
20 . A computer implemented method comprising:
in a cloud computing system comprising a plurality of servers configured to control a plurality of remote devices:
associating a plurality of commands with a plurality of operations, wherein the plurality of remote devices are configured to execute one or more of the plurality of operations;
receiving an input to the cloud computing system;
executing, based on the input to the cloud computing system, a first command associated with one or more first operations corresponding to a first remote device, wherein when the first command is executed in the cloud computing system, the cloud computing system generates first instructions including the one or more first operations for execution by the first remote device, and; and
executing, based on the input to the cloud computing system, a second command associated with one or more second operations corresponding to a second remote device, wherein when the second command is executed in the cloud computing system, the cloud computing system generates second instructions including the one or more second operations for execution by the second remote device; and
sending the first instructions and the second instructions to one or more servers coupled to the first remote device and the second remote device to cause the first remote device to execute the one or more first operations and cause the second remote device to execute the one or more second operations.
21 . A non-transitory machine-readable medium storing a program executable by at least one processing unit of a cloud computing system for controlling a plurality of remote devices, the program comprising sets of instructions for:
associating a plurality of commands with a plurality of operations, wherein the plurality of remote devices are configured to execute one or more of the plurality of operations;
receiving an input to the cloud computing system;
executing, based on the input to the cloud computing system, a first command associated with one or more first operations corresponding to a first remote device, wherein when the first command is executed in the cloud computing system, the cloud computing system generates first instructions including the one or more first operations for execution by the first remote device, and; and
executing, based on the input to the cloud computing system, a second command associated with one or more second operations corresponding to a second remote device, wherein when the second command is executed in the cloud computing system, the cloud computing system generates second instructions including the one or more second operations for execution by the second remote device; and
sending the first instructions and the second instructions to one or more servers coupled to the first remote device and the second remote device to cause the first remote device to execute the one or more first operations and cause the second remote device to execute the one or more second operations.
