Abstract

Transmission repetitions may be used in wireless communications. Control channel repetition may be used for scheduling communications between a base station and a wireless device. Control information, sent via the control channel, may indicate a wireless resource for the scheduled communications. The wireless device may determine, using the control information, the wireless resource corresponding to a default resource pool, a resource pool used for at least one repetition of the control channel, and/or based on a resource pool indicated via the control channel.

3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the receiving the DCI comprises receiving repetitions of the DCI, wherein the default CORESET pool index is a CORESET pool index of a CORESET, among the first CORESET and the second CORESET, via which a last repetition of the DCI is received.

4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the receiving the downlink signal based on the TCI state comprises receiving the downlink signal based on at least one demodulation reference signal (DMRS) port of the downlink signal being quasi co-located with a reference signal associated with the TCI state.

5 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising selecting, based on the first CORESET and the second CORESET being linked, the default CORESET pool index among the first CORESET pool index and the second CORESET pool index.

6 . A wireless device comprising:

one or more processors; and

memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to:

receive, via at least one of a first control resource set (CORESET) with a first CORESET pool index or a second CORESET with a second CORESET pool index, downlink control information (DCI) scheduling a downlink signal and comprising a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) field; and

receive, the downlink signal based on a TCI state, among one or more TCI states activated for a default CORESET pool index that is selected based on the first CORESET pool index and the second CORESET pool index being different, indicated by the TCI field.

7 . The wireless device of claim 6 , wherein the default CORESET pool index is:

a lowest CORESET pool index among the first CORESET pool index and the second CORESET pool index,

a highest CORESET pool index among the first CORESET pool index and the second CORESET pool index,

a preconfigured value among the first CORESET pool index and the second CORESET pool index, or

indicated in the DCI.

8 . The wireless device of claim 6 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to receive the DCI by causing receiving repetitions of the DCI, wherein the default CORESET pool index is a CORESET pool index of a CORESET, among the first CORESET and the second CORESET, via which a last repetition of the DCI is received.

9 . The wireless device of claim 6 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to receive the downlink signal based on the TCI state by causing receiving the downlink signal based on at least one demodulation reference signal (DMRS) port of the downlink signal being quasi co-located with a reference signal associated with the TCI state.

10 . The wireless device of claim 6 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to select, based on the first CORESET and the second CORESET being linked, the default CORESET pool index among the first CORESET pool index and the second CORESET pool index.

11 . A method comprising:

sending, by a base station via a first control resource set (CORESET) with a first CORESET pool index and a second CORESET with a second CORESET pool index, downlink control information (DCI) scheduling a downlink signal and comprising a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) field; and

sending the downlink signal based on a TCI state, among one or more TCI states activated for a default CORESET pool index that is selected based on the first CORESET pool index and the second CORESET pool index being different, indicated by the TCI field.

12 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the default CORESET pool index is:

a lowest CORESET pool index among the first CORESET pool index and the second CORESET pool index,

a highest CORESET pool index among the first CORESET pool index and the second CORESET pool index,

a preconfigured value among the first CORESET pool index and the second CORESET pool index, or

indicated in the DCI.

13 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the sending the DCI comprises sending repetitions of the DCI, wherein the default CORESET pool index is a CORESET pool index of a CORESET, among the first CORESET and the second CORESET, via which a last repetition of the DCI is sent.

14 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising sending one or more configuration parameters indicating:

the first CORESET pool index for the first CORESET; and

the second CORESET pool index for the second CORESET, wherein the second CORESET is linked to the first CORESET.

15 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising selecting, based on the first CORESET and the second CORESET being linked, the default CORESET pool index among the first CORESET pool index and the second CORESET pool index.

16 . A base station comprising:

one or more processors; and

memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the base station to:

send, via a first control resource set (CORESET) with a first CORESET pool index and a second CORESET with a second CORESET pool index, downlink control information (DCI) scheduling a downlink signal and comprising a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) field; and

send the downlink signal based on a TCI state, among one or more TCI states activated for a default CORESET pool index that is selected based on the first CORESET pool index and the second CORESET pool index being different, indicated by the TCI field.
