Abstract

A composition of psilocin that is stable including at least one agent or chemical modification that provides enhanced stability. A method making stable psilocin, by providing a formulation of psilocin including at least one agent or chemical modification that provides enhanced stability. A method of treatment of a disease or condition, by administering a composition of psilocin that is stable to an individual and treating the disease or condition.

18 . A method of treating a disease or condition, comprising:

administering to an individual a composition comprising psilocin besylate salt or psilocin lactate salt.

The method of claim 18 , wherein the disease or condition is an anxiety disorder, depression, headache disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), personality disorder, stress disorder, drug disorder, addiction, pain, neurodegenerative disorder, autism spectrum disorder, eating disorder, or neurological disorder.

21 . The method of claim 18 , wherein the composition is stable.

22 . The method of claim 21 , wherein stable includes being shelf-stable, being stable in cold storage, or being stable in storage under inert conditions.

23 . The method of claim 18 , wherein the individual is administered a composition comprising the psilocin besylate salt.

The method of claim 23 , wherein the disease or condition is an anxiety disorder, depression, headache disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), personality disorder, stress disorder, drug disorder, addiction, pain, neurodegenerative disorder, autism spectrum disorder, eating disorder, or neurological disorder.

25 . The method of claim 24 , wherein the disease or condition is depression.

26 . The method of claim 24 , wherein the disease or condition is an anxiety disorder.

27 . The method of claim 24 , wherein the disease or condition is a stress disorder.

28 . The method of claim 24 , wherein the disease or condition is pain.

29 . The method of claim 24 , wherein the disease or condition is obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD).

30 . The method of claim 24 , wherein the disease or condition is drug disorder, addiction, eating disorder, headache disorder, personality disorder, neurodegenerative disorder, autism spectrum disorder, or neurological disorder.

31 . The method of claim 18 , wherein the individual is administered a composition comprising the psilocin lactate salt.

32 . The method of claim 31 , wherein the disease or condition is an anxiety disorder, depression, headache disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), personality disorder, stress disorder, drug disorder, addiction, pain, neurodegenerative disorder, autism spectrum disorder, eating disorder, or neurological disorder.

33 . The method of claim 32 , wherein the disease or condition is depression.

34 . The method of claim 32 , wherein the disease or condition is an anxiety disorder.

35 . The method of claim 32 , wherein the disease or condition is a stress disorder.

36 . The method of claim 32 , wherein the disease or condition is pain.

37 . The method of claim 32 , wherein the disease or condition is obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD).

38 . The method of claim 32 , wherein the disease or condition is drug disorder, addiction, eating disorder, headache disorder, personality disorder, neurodegenerative disorder, autism spectrum disorder, or neurological disorder.
