Abstract

A case for an electronic device includes: a side wall; a back wall; and a support member, which is ring shaped and is connected with the side wall or the back wall and capable of moving relative to the side wall or the back wall, so as to support the case. The support member is moveable between a folded position and an unfolded position. The support member includes a connecting section. The case further includes a connecting element configured to pivotably connect the support member to the side wall or the back wall, the connecting element includes a connecting portion stacked on the connecting section in a depth direction of the support member. One of the connecting section and the connecting portion defines at least two fixing holes, and the other one is provided with at least two positioning protrusions engaged in the fixing boles respectively in the depth direction.

Claims (53)

1 . A case for an electronic device, comprising:

a housing comprising a back wall; and

a support member, which is substantially ring shaped and is connected with the housing, and capable of moving relative to the housing, so as to support the case; and

wherein the support member is moveable between a folded position and an unfolded position, when in the folded position, the support member is folded to the back wall; and when in the unfolded position, the case is supported by the support member at an angle relative to a support surface, the angle being adjustable by adjusting the unfolded position,

wherein the support member comprises a connecting section;

the case further comprises a connecting element configured to rotatably connect the support member to the housing, the connecting element comprises a plate-shaped connecting portion stacked on the connecting section in a thickness direction of the support member which is parallel to an axial direction of the support member;

the plate-shaped connecting portion of the connecting element is provided with at least two fixing holes, and the connecting section of the support member is provided with at least two positioning protrusions engaged in the at least two fixing holes respectively in the thickness direction of the support member to thereby fixedly connect the connecting section and the plate-shaped connecting portion together such that the support member is rotatable together with the plate-shaped connecting portion relative to the housing;

the connecting element further comprises a connecting tube connected with the plate-shaped connecting portion and sleeved on a shaft, the connecting tube extends out of the support member, and the support member is rotatable about an axis of the shaft relative to the housing; and

the support member further includes multiple receiving portions in each of which a magnetic alignment member is received; and

the connecting section of the support member is arranged to occupy a segment of a ring path along which the magnetic alignment members are circumferentially disposed, such that adjacent two of the magnetic alignment members respectively received in adjacent two of the receiving portions on opposite sides of the connecting section of the support member are separated from each other by the connecting section of the support member, and no magnetic alignment member is provided in the segment of the ring path occupied by the connecting section of the support member.

2 . The case for an electronic device according to claim 1 , wherein the support member comprises a ring segment which comprises a first end and a second end spaced apart from each other to define an open segment therebetween; and

an isolating member is received in the open segment and connected to the first end and the second end of the ring segment to cooperatively form a closed ring.

3 . The case for an electronic device according to claim 2 , wherein

the support member further includes a mounting section in which the receiving portions are provided, and the magnetic alignment members are detachably or fixedly received in the receiving portions respectively.

4 . The case for an electronic device according to claim 2 , wherein each of the magnetic alignment members comprises a material being capable of coupling with a magnet.

5 . The case for an electronic device according to claim 4 , wherein an outer diameter of the magnetic alignment members is about 48-60 mm.

The case for an electronic device according to claim 5 , wherein the magnetic alignment members defines a magnetic coupling area, wherein a vertical distance between a center of the magnetic coupling area and a top edge of the back wall is about 77-97 mm; or a horizontal distance between a center of the magnetic coupling area and a side edge of the back wall is about 40-52 mm.

7 . The case for an electronic device according to claim 6 , wherein each of the magnetic alignment members is substantially arc shaped.

8 . The case for an electronic device according to claim 7 , wherein each of the magnetic alignment members comprises:

a plurality of sub magnetic alignment elements, spaced apart from each other, and the sub magnetic alignment elements cooperatively form the substantially arc shape.

9 . The case for an electronic device according to claim 8 , wherein an outer periphery of the support member is polygonal shaped.

10 . The case for an electronic device according to claim 8 , wherein the axis of the shaft is perpendicular to the thickness direction of the support member and a lengthwise direction of the back wall.

The case for an electronic device according to claim 1 , wherein the connecting section of the support member is sunken in the thickness direction of the support member to form a mounting position, and the connecting portion of the connecting element is stacked and fixed on the mounting position; and

the at least two positioning protrusions are arranged at the mounting position and distributed at an interval in a circumferential direction of the support member.

12 . The case for an electronic device according to claim 11 , wherein a side surface of the connecting portion of the connecting element adjacent to an inner periphery of the support member is an arcuate side surface which is conformed to an arcuate inner periphery of the support member; and

the arcuate side surface and the connecting tube are located at opposite ends of the connecting element in a longitudinal direction of the back wall.

13 . The case for an electronic device according to claim 1 , wherein the case further comprises another connecting element, fixedly connected with the back wall;

wherein the connecting element and the another connecting element are rotatably connected with each other;

wherein the back wall defines a first connecting groove for mounting the another connecting element, the back wall comprises a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface in a thickness direction of the back wall, the housing further comprises a side wall extending from the back wall, the first surface and the side wall cooperatively surrounds and delimits a receiving cavity for receiving the electronic device; and the second surface defines a receiving space configured for receiving the support member; and

wherein the back wall further defines an opening passed through the first surface and the second surface, the another connecting element comprises a plate-shaped first portion and a second portion, the plate-shaped first portion is received in the first connecting groove, the second portion is connected to the plate-shaped first portion and received in the opening, and the second portion is sleeved on the shaft to thereby rotatably connect the another connecting element and the connecting element; and

the support member received in the receiving space, the second portion received in the opening and the plate-shaped first portion received in the first connecting groove are arranged sequentially in a longitudinal direction of the back wall such that the case can be supported on the support surface at two different orientations, at one of the orientations the case is supported on the support surface by the support member and a longitudinal section of the sidewall, and at another one of the orientations the case is supported on the support surface by the support member and a lateral section of the sidewall, the longitudinal section extending along a length direction of the back wall and the lateral section extending along a width direction of the back wall.

The case for an electronic device according to claim 13 , wherein the connecting section of the support member is sunken in the thickness direction of the support member to form a mounting position, the at least two positioning protrusions are arranged at the mounting position and distributed at an interval in a circumferential direction of the support member, and the plate-shaped connecting portion of the connecting element is stacked and fixed on the mounting position.

15 . The case for an electronic device according to claim 14 , wherein the second portion of the another connecting element is integrally bent from the plate-shaped first portion.

16 . The case for an electronic device according to claim 10 , wherein a side surface of the connecting portion of the connecting element opposite to the connecting tube is arcuate.

17 . The case for an electronic device according to claim 2 , wherein the support member further includes a pair of arcuate mounting sections located at opposite ends of the connecting section in a circumferential direction of the support member;

each of the arcuate mounting sections defines one said receiving portion; and

the case comprises a pair of said magnetic alignment members which are mounted in the receiving portions respectively.

18 . A case for an electronic device, comprising:

a side wall;

a back wall, connected with the side wall, wherein the side wall comprises a longitudinal section extending along a length direction of the back wall and a lateral section extending along a width direction of the back wall; and

a support member, which is substantially ring shaped and is connected with the back wall, and capable of moving relative to the back wall, so as to support the case; and

wherein the support member is moveable between a folded position and an unfolded position, when in the folded position, the support member is folded to the back wall; and when in the unfolded position, the case is supported by the support member at an angle relative to a support surface, the angle being adjustable by adjusting the unfolded position,

wherein the support member comprises a connecting section;

the case further comprises a connecting member configured to rotatably connect the support member to the back wall, the connecting member comprises a plate-shaped connecting portion stacked on the connecting section in a thickness direction of the support member which is perpendicular to the length direction of the back wall; and

one of the connecting section and the plate-shaped connecting portion is provided with at least two fixing holes, and the other of the connecting section and the plate-shaped connecting portion is provided with at least two positioning protrusions engaged in the at least two fixing boles respectively in the thickness direction of the support member;

wherein the connecting member comprises a first connecting element fixedly connected with the back wall and a second connecting element which comprises the plate-shaped connecting portion;

wherein the back wall comprises a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface; the first surface of the back wall and the side wall cooperatively surrounds and delimits a receiving cavity for receiving the electronic device, the first surface of the back wall defines a first connecting groove for mounting the first connecting element, the second surface of the back wall defines a receiving space configured for receiving the support member;

wherein the back wall further defines an opening passed through the first surface and the second surface, the first connecting element comprises a plate-shaped first portion and a second portion, the plate-shaped first portion is received in the first connecting groove, the second portion is connected to the plate-shaped first portion and received in the opening;

wherein the second connecting element is rotatably connected to the second portion of the first connecting element;

wherein the support member received in the receiving space, the second portion of the first connecting element received in the opening and the plate-shaped first portion of the first connecting element received in the first connecting groove are arranged sequentially in the longitudinal direction of the back wall such that the case can be supported on the support surface at two different orientations, at one of the orientations the case is supported on the support surface by the support member and the longitudinal section of the sidewall, and at another one of the orientations the case is supported on the support surface by the support member and the lateral section of the sidewall; and

wherein the plate-shaped first portion defines multiple holes, and the first connecting groove is provided with multiple columns engaged in the multiple holes of the plate-shaped first portion of the first connecting element to thereby fix the plate-shaped first portion of the first connecting element to the back wall.

The case for an electronic device according to claim 18 , wherein the connecting section of the support member is sunken in the thickness direction of the support member to form a mounting position, and the plate-shaped connecting portion of the second connecting element is stacked and fixed on the mounting position.

The case for an electronic device according to claim 19 , wherein the second connecting element further comprises a connecting tube, and the second portion of the first connecting element and the connecting tube of the second connecting element are sleeved on a shaft to rotatably connect the first connecting element and the second connecting element.
