Abstract

Some embodiments include a system with a sensor with electrodes including an active electrode and a receiving electrode that is in physical contact with skin of a patient forming an electrical circuit with control electronics of a controller that can measure an electrical parameter using an active electrode and a receiving electrode within a closed loop electrical muscle stimulation system. A sense electrical pulse can be applied to the tissue using the sensor, an electrical parameter measured from the tissue, and a stimulation pulse applied to the tissue based at least in part on the measured electrical parameter. The stimulation is adjustably controlled by the controller to maintain a constant power output to the tissue based on the electrical parameter. A good is coupled to a computer readable medium configured to store usage data, the usage data relating to the patient's use of the good.

19 . A system comprising:

an assembly comprising:

a wrap,

one or more electrodes,

at least one controller; and

a graphical user interface;

wherein the wrap is configured to wrap around a portion of a user's body;

wherein the one or more electrodes are coupled to an inside portion of the wrap;

wherein the at least one controller is coupled to the one or more electrodes;

wherein the at least one controller is configured to send one or more electrical pulses to the one or more electrodes;

wherein the controller is configured to couple to the graphical user interface; and

wherein one or more operational aspects of the assembly can be controlled through the graphical user interface.

20 . The system of claim 19 ,

wherein the graphical user interface is configured to display a process to couple the graphical user interface to the assembly.

21 . The system of claim 20 ,

wherein the graphical user interface includes a step to select an in-application scanner to scan and synchronize the assembly.

22 . The system of claim 19 ,

wherein the graphical user interface includes a stimulator icon configured to be used to access one or more functions of the one or more electrodes.

wherein the graphical user interface includes a goal section.

wherein the graphical user interface includes a moveable indicator for setting a user's target goal related to a body portion.

wherein the graphical user interface includes is configured to enable a user to input a target pain reduction goal.
