Abstract

A method, computer program product, and computer system for an injectable administration compliance platform for real-time monitoring and management of adherence to a program for administration of a set of injectables. The platform may include: a server to receive administration data from a wireless module associated with an intelligent injection device. The administration data may include at least one of: an injection device ID, a drug ID, a patient ID, a potency value, an administration completion flag, a timestamp, or temperature data. A database may store treatment schedules. An artificial intelligence module may: calculate a compliance score, and compare the compliance score to a compliance threshold to categorize the injection event. An alerts module may be included. A monitoring system may track user compliance in substantially real-time. A recommendation system may generate health suggestions. The platform may further include a reporting module, a verification module, and a dashboard.

2 . The platform of claim 1 , wherein the injectable administration program is prescribed by a physician and stored in the treatment schedule database.

3 . The platform of claim 1 , wherein the platform receives administration data collected from an intelligent injection device, wherein the administration data includes at least one of: a substance type, substance amount ejected, duration of substance release, temperature of substance, and substance identifier.

4 . The platform of claim 1 , wherein the platform uses the intelligent injection device data to make medical treatment determinations, wherein the medical treatment determinations include at least one of: adjustments to patient treatment based on administration data and changes to dosage or timing based on recorded patient data.

5 . The platform of claim 1 , wherein the platform uses the intelligent injection device data to make insurance coverage determinations, wherein the insurance coverage determinations include at least one of: increasing or lowering insurance rates and claim payouts based on whether the administration data indicates legitimate or fraudulent injection.

6 . The platform of claim 1 , wherein the platform uses the intelligent injection device data to make manufacturing determinations, wherein the manufacturing determinations include at least one of: design adjustments, assembly adjustments, and factory adjustments based on the administration data.

7 . The platform of claim 1 , wherein the platform uses the intelligent injection device data in connection with clinical trials of injectable medications, wherein the platform records exact injection timing to ensure accurate reporting and adherence to clinical trial protocols.

8 . The platform of claim 1 , wherein the platform uses the intelligent injection device data to make legal and regulatory compliance determinations through a compliance/reporting/validation system that ensures all regulatory requirements are met.

9 . The platform of claim 8 , wherein the legal and regulatory compliance determination is based at least in part on location-specific or jurisdiction-specific constraints or requirements through a privacy/governance system that protects patient data according to legal standards in regions with stringent data protection laws.

10 . The intelligent dosing platform of claim 1 , wherein the platform is integrated with an emergency medical record (EMR) system and/or an emergency health record (EHR) system, wherein the integration enables automatic population of EMR/EHR fields with administration data.

11 . The intelligent dosing platform of claim 1 , wherein the platform is integrated with a clinical provider or caregiver portal configured to enable healthcare providers to monitor compliance remotely and make treatment and coverage decisions based on stored treatment data.

12 . The intelligent dosing platform of claim 1 , wherein the platform is integrated with a patient portal configured to enable patients to:

manage injection schedules,

view medication history,

manage appointments,

refill prescriptions, and

communicate with healthcare providers.

13 . The intelligent dosing platform of claim 10 , wherein a set of events from an intelligent injection device are automatically delivered to populate one or more fields of the EMR/EHR system, wherein the events include administration data comprising at least one of:

an injection device ID,

a drug ID,

a patient ID,

a potency value,

an administration completion flag,

a timestamp, and

temperature data.

14 . A platform for managing injectable medication administration, comprising:

a server configured to receive administration data from an intelligent injection device;

a database configured to store treatment schedules;

an artificial intelligence module configured to:

calculate a compliance score for an injection event based on the administration data and a treatment schedule, and

categorize the injection event as compliant or non-compliant;
