Abstract

This invention relates to therapeutic, diagnostic and/or prophylactic formulations and dosages and dosing regimens of anti-CD3 antibodies, as well as to methods for using such formulations and dosages and dosing regimens.

Claims (11)

1 . A formulation comprising an anti-CD3 antibody, 10 mM to 500 mM sodium acetate trihydrate, 10 mM to 500 mM sodium chloride, and 0.01% to 1% (w/v) polysorbate 80, wherein the anti-CD3 antibody comprises a heavy chain complementarity determining region 1 (CDRH1) comprising the amino acid sequence GYGMH (SEQ ID NO: 1), a heavy chain complementarity determining region 2 (CDRH2) comprising the amino acid sequence VIWYDGSKKYYVDSVKG (SEQ ID NO: 3), a heavy chain complementarity determining region 3 (CDRH3) comprising the amino acid sequence QMGYWHFDL (SEQ ID NO: 4), a light chain complementarity determining region 1 (CDRL1) comprising the amino acid sequence RASQSVSSYLA (SEQ ID NO: 5), a light chain complementarity determining region 2 (CDRL2) comprising the amino acid sequence DASNRAT (SEQ ID NO: 6), and a light chain complementarity determining region 3 (CDRL3) comprising the amino acid sequence QQRSNWPPLT (SEQ ID NO: 7).

2 . The formulation of claim 1 , comprising a unit dose of the anti-CD3 antibody or antigen binding fragment, wherein the unit dose is 0.1 mg to 10 mg.

3 . The formulation of claim 1 , wherein the formulation is at a pH in the range of 4 to 6.

4 . The formulation of claim 1 , wherein the sodium acetate trihydrate is at a concentration of 25 mM to 250 mM.

5 . The formulation of claim 1 , wherein the sodium chloride is at a concentration of 125 mM.

6 . The formulation of claim 1 , wherein the polysorbate 80 is at a concentration of 0.2 mg/mL.

7 . The formulation of claim 1 , wherein the formulation is a nasal formulation.

8 . The formulation of claim 1 , wherein the formulation is an aerosol.

9 . The formulation of claim 1 , wherein the anti-CD3 antibody comprises a variable heavy chain amino acid sequence comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 8 and a variable light chain amino acid sequence comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 9.

10 . The formulation of claim 1 , wherein the anti-CD3 antibody comprises a heavy chain amino acid sequence comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 10 and a light chain amino acid sequence comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 11.

11 . A method of treating or alleviating a symptom of an autoimmune disease, an inflammatory disorder, or a neurodegenerative disease in a subject in need thereof, comprising administering to the subject the formulation of claim 1 .
