RECYCLING A MULTILAYER SYSTEM
The present invention relates to a multilayer system F 1 comprising: a layer C 1 comprising at least one polypropylene, an adhesive layer Ad consisting of a hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive composition PC, and a layer C 2 comprising at least one polypropylene, said multilayer system F 1 comprising at least 80% by weight of polypropylene or of a mixture of polypropylenes, with respect to the total weight of said system. The invention also relates to 10 the use of said system F 1 in order to prepare a recycled article.

16 . A process for preparing a recycled article, comprising
providing a multilayer system F 1 comprising:
a layer C 1 comprising at least one polypropylene,
an adhesive layer Ad consisting of a hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive composition PC comprising:
a composition (a 1 ) of styrenic block copolymers comprising at least one elastomer block; and
one or more tackifying resins (a 2 );
a layer C 2 comprising at least one polypropylene,
said multilayer system F 1 comprising at least 80% by weight of a polypropylene or of a mixture of polypropylenes, with respect to the total weight of said system, and
using the multilayer system F 1 to prepare the recycled article.
17 . The process as claimed in claim 16 , characterized in that the composition (a 1 ) of styrenic block copolymers comprising at least one elastomer block consists, on the basis of its total weight:
of from 10% to 90% by weight of at least one diblock copolymer chosen from the group consisting of SI, SBI, SIB, SB, SEB and SEP, and
of from 10% to 90% by weight of at least one triblock copolymer chosen from the group consisting of SIS, SIBS, SBS, SEBS and SEPS.
18 . The process as claimed in claim 16 , characterized in that the content of composition (a 1 ) in the hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive composition PC ranges from 30% to 80% by weight, with respect to the total weight of said composition PC.
19 . The process as claimed in claim 16 , characterized in that the total content of styrenic units of said composition (a 1 ) varies from 10% to 40% by weight, on the basis of the total weight of (a 1 ).
20 . The process as claimed in claim 16 , characterized in that the content of diblock copolymer in the composition (a 1 ) varies from 15% to 80%.
21 . The process as claimed in claim 16 , characterized in that the hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive composition PC comprises:
from 40% to 70% by weight of a composition (a 1 ) of styrenic block copolymers comprising at least one elastomer block, said composition (a 1 ) consisting, on the basis of its total weight:
of from 10% to 90% by weight of at least one diblock copolymer chosen from the group consisting of SI, SBI, SIB, SB, SEB and SEP, and
of from 10% to 90% by weight of at least one triblock copolymer chosen from the group consisting of SIS, SIBS, SBS, SEBS and SEPS;
the total content of styrenic units of said composition (a 1 ) varying from 10% to 40% by weight, on the basis of the total weight of (a 1 ); and
from 30% to 60% by weight of one or more tackifying resins (a 2 ).
22 . The process as claimed in claim 16 , characterized in that the composition (a 1 ) consists of an SIS triblock copolymer and of an SI diblock copolymer.
23 . The process as claimed in claim 16 , characterized in that the multilayer system F 1 comprises at least 80% by weight, of polypropylene or of a mixture of polypropylenes, with respect to the total weight of said system.
24 . The process as claimed in claim 16 , characterized in that the recycled article is a single-layer film, a laminate, a (multilayer) complex or a molded article.
25 . The process as claimed in claim 16 , characterized in that the recycled article comprises at least 90%, of polypropylene or of a mixture of polypropylenes, with respect to the total weight of said recycled article.
26 . The process as claimed in claim 16 , said process comprising:
a) the provision of the multilayer system F 1 ;
b) the conversion of the multilayer system F 1 into flakes;
c) the optional mixing of the flakes obtained in stage b) with recycled or virgin polypropylene; and
d) the conversion of the flakes from stage b) or of the mixture from stage c) into a recycled article.
27 . A recycled article obtained according to the process as defined in claim 26 .
28 . The recycled article according to claim 27 , having improved impact strength.
29 . The recycled article according to claim 27 , having impact strength improved by at least 5%, in comparison with a control article consisting of 100% of polypropylene and devoid of the hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive composition PC.
