Abstract

A wireless device transmits a user equipment (UE) capability message comprising a first parameter, per band combination, indicating a maximum number of timing advance groups (TAGs) that the wireless device supports. The UE capability message further comprises a second parameter, per cell, indicating whether the wireless device supports two TAGs for intra-cell multiple transmission and reception point (multi-TRP) operation. The wireless device receives one or more radio resource control (RRC) messages two TAGs for a cell and a plurality of transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states for uplink transmissions via the cell. The wireless device receives downlink control information (DCI) indicating a TCI state associated with a TAG among the two TAGs of the cell. The wireless device transmits, based on a timing advance of the TAG associated with the TCI state, an uplink transmission using the TCI state.
