SINGLE SERVE SYSTEMS, APPARATUSES, AND METHODS
A single serve pod system, a single serve pod assembly system, a single serve pod, a reusable pod apparatus, a process of assembling the single serve pod, and methods of use are presented. More specifically, and without limitation, the present disclosure relates to preparation of a single serve pod in accordance with brewing coffee, tea, and/or other brewing.
1 . An assembly apparatus comprising:
a housing comprising a first cavity, at least one finger grip aperture adjacent to the first cavity, and a second cavity,
the first cavity configured to hold a reusable single serve brewing pod in an open position,
the at least one finger grip aperture configured to allow a user to grip the reusable single serve brewing pod, and
the second cavity configured to hold a plurality of filters, each of the plurality of filters configured to be used in the reusable single serve brewing pod.
2 . The assembly apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the first cavity and the second cavity are both in a same portion of the housing.
3 . The assembly apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the first cavity and the second cavity are both in an upper portion of the housing.
4 . The assembly apparatus of claim 3 , wherein the first cavity configured to hold the reusable single serve brewing pod in the open position is located at an uppermost portion of the housing such that no other portion of the housing or the assembly apparatus is above the first cavity.
5 . The assembly apparatus of claim 4 , wherein the at least one finger grip aperture comprises a pair of finger grip apertures located adjacent to the first cavity and on opposite sides of the first cavity.
6 . The assembly apparatus of claim 5 , wherein the housing further comprises a grab aperture adjacent to the second cavity, the grab aperture configured to allow a user to grab a filter of the plurality of filters.
7 . The assembly apparatus of claim 6 ,
wherein the reusable single serve brewing pod comprises a cover,
wherein the housing further comprises an angled support surface configured to support at least a portion of the cover of the reusable single serve brewing pod in the open position such that at least a portion of the cover in the open position is supported by the angled support surface.
8 . The assembly apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising a coffee grinder.
9 . The assembly apparatus of claim 8 , wherein the coffee grinder is located at an upper portion of the assembly apparatus,
wherein the first cavity configured to hold the reusable single serve brewing pod in the open position is located in an interior of the housing.
10 . The assembly apparatus of claim 9 , further comprising a ground coffee chute located in the interior of the housing,
the ground coffee chute configured to direct ground coffee from the coffee grinder to the first cavity.
