Abstract

A secure cryptocurrency transactional system for actuating transactions involving electronic gaming machines and cryptocurrency wallets.

Claims (11)

1 . A system for enabling secure cryptocurrency transfers between an electronic gaming machine and a cryptowallet, the system comprising:

a) memory residing in the electronic gaming machine and configured to store an amount of credit, the amount of credit being usable to actuate play of a game on the electronic gaming machine; and

b) a server in communication with the electronic gaming machine and a blockchain memory pool, the server configured to detect a cryptocurrency transaction defined by transaction data communicated by the cryptowallet to the blockchain memory pool, the transaction data comprising an amount of a cryptocurrency involved in the cryptocurrency transaction, an input identification associated with the cryptocurrency involved in the cryptocurrency transaction, an output identification associated with the cryptocurrency, and a user transaction public key,

wherein the server is further configured to, responsive to detecting the transaction data, compare a stored user transaction public key with the user transaction public key included in the transaction data and, responsive to the stored user transaction public key matching the user transaction public key, communicate a signal to the electronic gaming machine to add an additional amount of credit to the amount of credit stored in the memory residing in the electronic gaming machine, and wherein the amount of credit corresponds to the amount of cryptocurrency involved in the cryptocurrency transaction.

2 . The system as recited in claim 1 , wherein the server is further configured to use the output identification involved with the cryptocurrency transaction as a subsequent input identification in a subsequent cryptocurrency transaction involving the cryptocurrency.

3 . The system of claim 2 , wherein the subsequent cryptocurrency transaction involves a transfer of another amount of the cryptocurrency to the cryptowallet.

4 . A system for enabling secure cryptocurrency transfers between an electronic gaming machine and a cryptowallet, the system comprising:

a) memory residing in the electronic gaming machine and configured to store an amount of credit, the amount of credit being usable to actuate play of a game on the electronic gaming machine; and

b) a server in communication with the electronic gaming machine and a blockchain memory pool, the server configured to detect a cryptocurrency transaction defined by transaction data communicated by the cryptowallet to the blockchain memory pool, the transaction data comprising an amount of a cryptocurrency involved in the cryptocurrency transaction, an input identification associated with the amount of cryptocurrency involved in the cryptocurrency transaction, an output identification associated with the amount of cryptocurrency involved with the cryptocurrency transaction, and a user transaction public key,

wherein the server is further configured to, responsive to detecting the transaction data, compare a stored user transaction public key with the user transaction public key included in the transaction data and, responsive to the stored user transaction public key matching the user transaction public key, communicate a signal to the electronic gaming machine to add an additional amount of credit to the amount of credit stored in the memory residing in the electronic gaming machine, and wherein the amount of credit is based on the amount of cryptocurrency involved in the cryptocurrency transaction.

5 . The system as recited in claim 1 , wherein the server is further configured to use the output identification involved with the cryptocurrency transaction as a subsequent input identification in a subsequent cryptocurrency transaction involving the cryptowallet.
