Abstract

An apparatus may include circuitry configured to receive data obtained by one or more sensors associated with a physical system, convert the data into one or more elements that differ in structure from the data, and provide, based on the one or more elements, a state of the physical system.

Claims (39)

1 . An apparatus, comprising:

circuitry configured to:

receive data obtained by one or more sensors associated with a physical system;

convert the data into one or more elements that differ in structure from the data; and

provide, based on the one or more elements, a state of the physical system.

2 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the data includes telemetry values associated with the physical system, and the circuitry is further configured to transform at least a portion of the telemetry values into the one or more elements.

3 . The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the one or more elements include token identifiers representing at least one state of the physical system.

4 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the one or more elements represent one or more characteristics of the physical system abstracted from the data.

5 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to arrange the one or more elements as an ordered sequence representing variation of the physical system.

6 . The apparatus of claim 5 , wherein the ordered sequence is structured for contextual processing.

7 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the one or more sensors include at least one of a vision sensor or a camera configured to generate at least one of image data or video data associated with the physical system.

8 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing a set of instructions, the set of instructions comprising one or more instructions that, when executed by one or more processors of an apparatus, cause the apparatus to:

receive data obtained by one or more sensors associated with a physical system;

convert the data into one or more elements that differ in structure from the data; and

provide, based on the one or more elements, a state of the physical system.

9 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 8 , wherein the one or more instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further cause the apparatus to:

transform at least a portion of telemetry values included in the data into the one or more elements.

10 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 8 , wherein the one or more instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further cause the apparatus to:

receive at least one of image data or video data from at least one of a vision sensor or a camera associated with the physical system and convert the at least one of the image data or the video data into the one or more elements.

11 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 8 , wherein the one or more instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further cause the apparatus to:

arrange the one or more elements as an ordered sequence representing variation of the physical system.

12 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 8 , wherein the data further includes contextual information associated with the physical system, and the one or more instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further cause the apparatus to:

convert the contextual information into one or more additional elements together with the data obtained by the one or more sensors.

13 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 8 , wherein the state includes at least one of an operational state, a degradation state, or a fault state.

14 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 8 , wherein the one or more instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further cause the apparatus to:

structure the one or more elements for contextual processing by a model configured to evaluate relationships among the one or more elements.

15 . A method, comprising:

receiving data obtained by one or more sensors associated with a physical system;

converting the data into one or more elements that differ in structure from the data; and

providing, based on the one or more elements, a state of the physical system.

16 . The method of claim 15 , wherein receiving the data includes receiving at least one of image data or video data from at least one of a vision sensor or a camera associated with the physical system.

17 . The method of claim 15 , further comprising:

arranging the one or more elements as an ordered sequence representing variation of the physical system over time.

18 . The method of claim 15 , wherein the one or more elements are structured for contextual sequence processing.

19 . The method of claim 15 , further comprising:

incorporating contextual information associated with the physical system into the one or more elements prior to providing the state.

20 . The method of claim 15 , further comprising:

generating, based on the state, a signal associated with operation of the physical system; and

modifying operation of the physical system based on the signal.
