Transmission Power Control
A transmission power for a wireless communication may be determined based on one or more criteria. A default transmission power may be based on one or more default transmission power control parameters indicated by a base station. One or more default transmission power control parameters may be determined, for a transmission by a wireless device, based on whether the transmission is via a serving cell or via a non-serving cell.
1 . A method comprising:
receiving, by a wireless device and via a control resource set (CORESET), downlink control information (DCI) scheduling a transmission; and
sending the transmission using a transmission power corresponding to a pathloss reference signal that is based on a physical cell index (PCI) associated with a transmission configuration indication (TCI) state of the CORESET.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the sending the transmission using the transmission power comprises determining, based on the pathloss reference signal, the transmission power.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the transmission power is further based on a power control parameter set.
4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the pathloss reference signal is associated with a pathloss reference signal index that is:
the lowest among pathloss reference signal indexes of a plurality of pathloss reference signals comprising the pathloss reference signal, or
equal to zero.
5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the sending the transmission using the transmission power corresponding to the pathloss reference signal is based on the DCI not comprising a sounding reference signal resource indicator (SRI) field.
6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the transmission power is further based on one or more of:
a target received power,
a pathloss compensation factor, or
a closed-loop index.
7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the transmission power is:
a first transmission power corresponding to a first pathloss reference signal based on the PCI being a first PCI, or
a second transmission power corresponding to a second pathloss reference signal based on the PCI being a second PCI.
8 . A wireless device comprising:
one or more processors; and
memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to:
receive, via a control resource set (CORESET), downlink control information (DCI) scheduling a transmission; and
send the transmission using a transmission power corresponding to a pathloss reference signal that is based on a physical cell index (PCI) associated with a transmission configuration indication (TCI) state of the CORESET.
9 . The wireless device of claim 8 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to send the transmission using the transmission power by causing determining, based on the pathloss reference signal, the transmission power.
10 . The wireless device of claim 8 , wherein the transmission power is further based on a power control parameter set.
11 . The wireless device of claim 8 , wherein the pathloss reference signal is associated with a pathloss reference signal index that is:
the lowest among pathloss reference signal indexes of a plurality of pathloss reference signals comprising the pathloss reference signal, or
equal to zero.
12 . The wireless device of claim 8 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to send the transmission using the transmission power corresponding to the pathloss reference signal based on the DCI not comprising a sounding reference signal resource indicator (SRI) field.
13 . The wireless device of claim 8 , wherein the transmission power is further based on one or more of:
a target received power,
a pathloss compensation factor, or
a closed-loop index.
14 . The wireless device of claim 8 , wherein the transmission power is:
a first transmission power corresponding to a first pathloss reference signal based on the PCI being a first PCI, or
a second transmission power corresponding to a second pathloss reference signal based on the PCI being a second PCI.
15 . A non-transitory computer readable medium storing instructions that, when executed, cause:
receiving, by a wireless device via a control resource set (CORESET), downlink control information (DCI) scheduling a transmission; and
sending the transmission using a transmission power corresponding to a pathloss reference signal that is based on a physical cell index (PCI) associated with a transmission configuration indication (TCI) state of the CORESET.
16 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the instructions, when executed, cause the sending the transmission using the transmission power by causing determining, based on the pathloss reference signal, the transmission power.
17 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the transmission power is further based on a power control parameter set.
18 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the pathloss reference signal is associated with a pathloss reference signal index that is:
the lowest among pathloss reference signal indexes of a plurality of pathloss reference signals comprising the pathloss reference signal, or
equal to zero.
