Abstract

The force to draw an armature of an electromagnetic valve apparatus driving a valve for opening or closing a high-pressure liquid passage is increased and valve bouncing is alleviated by a surface of the core being flat and a surface of the armature facing the surface of the core being shaped convexly spherical. Interference of the surfaces is prevented by a smaller initial gap in a central portion of the faces, even when the armature is installed aslant due to insufficient accuracy of the component parts. Strong electromagnetic attraction can be secured because the smaller the gap is, the stronger the electromagnetic attraction.

Claims (8)

1. An electromagnetic valve apparatus comprising:

a core having an embedded coil;

an armature located facing said core so as to be able to be driven by electromagnetic force;

a valve body fitted into a valve seat member for relative reciprocation, said armature being fixed to said valve body by a bolt, and said valve seat member having a valve seat part;

wherein the surface of said core facing said armature is flat and the surface of said armature facing said core is convexly spherical;

wherein said armature is movable between an attracted position in which said valve body is in a seated position seated on said valve seat part and an unattracted position in which said valve body is in an open position;

wherein a distance between a central part of the surface of said core facing said armature and the surface of said armature facing said core is greater than a distance of said valve body between the open position and the seated position such that a gap is secured between the surface of said core facing said armature and the surface of said armature facing said core when said valve body is in the seated position.

2. The electromagnetic valve apparatus of claim 1 , wherein said armature comprises at least one passage hole having a tapered portion broadening toward the surface of said core facing said armature.
