Abstract

The invention relates to newly discovered nucleic acid molecules and proteins associated with breast cancer. Compositions, kits, and methods for detecting, characterizing, preventing, and treating human breast cancers are provided.

Claims (24)

1. An isolated polypeptide which is encoded by a nucleic acid molecule comprising a nucleotide sequence which is at least 95% identical to the entire nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 331.

2. The isolated polypeptide of claim 1 , further comprising heterologous amino acid sequences.

3. An isolated fusion polypeptide comprising the polypeptide of claim 1 operably linked to a heterologous polypeptide.

4. The isolated polypeptide of claim 1 , wherein the isolated polypeptide is encoded by a nucleic acid molecule comprising a nucleotide sequence which is at least 97% identical to the entire nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 331.

5. The isolated polypeptide of claim 1 , wherein the isolated polypeptide is encoded by a nucleic acid molecule comprising a nucleotide sequence which is at least 98% identical to the entire nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 331.
