Abstract

Maleate salts of (6-(5-chloro-2-pyridyl)-5-[(4-methyl-1-piperazinyl)carbonyloxy]-7-oxo-6,7-dihydro-5H-pyrrolo[3,4-b]pyrazine) are provided.

Claims (2)

1. A method for decreasing the bitterness of an oral dosage form containing enantioenriched zopiclone comprising providing said enantioenriched zopiclone in the form of its maleate salt.

2. A method according to claim 1 wherein said enantioenriched zopiclone in the form of its maleate salt is eszopiclone maleate.
