Compositions and methods for treating IgE-mediated disorders
The present invention relates to immunoglobulins that bind IgE and FcγRIIb with high affinity, said compositions being capable of inhibiting cells that express membrane-anchored IgE. Such compositions are useful for treating IgE-mediated disorders, including allergies and asthma.
1. An antibody comprising a heavy chain having the sequence of SEQ ID NO:41 and a light chain having the sequence of SEQ ID NO:40, wherein said antibody binds membrane anchored lgE.
2. An antibody comprising a heavy chain and a light chain, wherein said antibody binds membrane anchored IgE and wherein said heavy chain has the sequence of SEQ ID NO:41.
3. The antibody of claim 2 , wherein said antibody comprises a variable region and an Fc region, wherein the Fc region has an enhanced binding affinity to FcγRIIb relative to a native human IgG1 Fc region.
4. An antibody comprising a heavy chain and a light chain, wherein said antibody binds membrane anchored IgE and wherein said light chain has the sequence of SEQ ID NO:40.
5. The antibody of claim 4 , wherein said antibody comprises a variable region and an Fc region, wherein the Fc region has an enhanced binding affinity to FcγRIIb relative to a native human IgG1 Fc region.
6. An antibody comprising a VH domain and a VL domain, wherein said VH domain comprises the variable region in the sequence of SEQ ID NO:41, said VL domain comprises the variable region in the sequence of SEQ ID NO:40, and wherein said antibody binds membrane anchored IgE.
7. An antibody comprising a VH domain and a VL domain, wherein said VH domain comprises the variable region in the sequence of SEQ ID NO:41 and wherein said antibody binds membrane anchored IgE.
8. An antibody comprising a VH domain and a VL domain, wherein said VL domain comprises the variable region in the sequence of SEQ ID NO:40 and wherein said antibody binds membrane anchored IgE.
