Abstract

Disclosed are a transmission device and a transmission method with which it is possible to prevent delays in data transmission and to minimize the increase in the number of bits necessary for the notification of a CC to be used, in cases where a CC to be used is added during communication employing carrier aggregation. When a component carrier is to be added to a component carrier set, a setting section ( 101 ) provided in a base station ( 100 ): modifies a CIF table that defines the correspondence between code points, which are used as labels for the respective component carriers contained in the component carrier set, and the identification information of the respective component carriers; and assigns a vacant code point to the component carrier to be added, while keeping the correspondence between the code points and the component carrier identification information defined in the CIF table before modification.

Claims (24)

1. A base station apparatus comprising:

a setting section configured to allocate an unconfigured carrier indicator field value (CIF value) to a component carrier identification index of a newly added component carrier, while maintaining a correspondence relationship between CIF values and component carrier identification indexes, when a new component carrier is added to one or more component carriers, each of the CIF values being used to label each of the one or more component carriers; and

a transmitting section configured to transmit a notification signal to a terminal apparatus, the notification signal including the CIF value allocated to the newly added component carrier and the component carrier identification index of the newly added component carrier; and

when a part of the one or more component carriers is deleted,

the setting section deletes a CIF value corresponding to the deleted component carrier; and

the transmitting section transmits the notification signal including the component carrier identification index of the deleted component carrier.

2. The base station apparatus according to claim 1 , further comprising:

a control section configured to generate resource allocation information, which includes the CIF value corresponding to the component carrier allocated to the terminal apparatus.

3. The base station apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein

the CIF values are allocated only to component carriers that are used to transmit data.

4. The base station apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein

the correspondence relationship between CIF values and component carrier identification indexes is set for each terminal apparatus.

5. A transmission method comprising:

allocating an unconfigured carrier indicator field value (CIF value) to a component carrier identification index of a newly added component carrier, while maintaining a correspondence relationship between CIF values and component carrier identification indexes, when a new component carrier is added to one or more component carriers, each of the CIF values being used to label each of the one or more component carriers; and

transmitting a notification signal to a terminal apparatus, the notification signal including the CIF value allocated to the newly added component carrier and the component carrier identification index of the newly added component carrier; and

when a part of the one or more component carriers is deleted,

deleting a CIF value corresponding to the deleted component carrier; and

transmitting the notification signal including the component carrier identification index of the deleted component carrier.

6. The transmission method according to claim 5 , further comprising:

generating resource allocation information, which includes the CIF value corresponding to the component carrier allocated to the terminal apparatus.

7. The transmission method according to claim 5 , wherein

the CIF values are allocated only to component carriers that are used to transmit data.

8. The transmission method according to claim 5 , wherein

the correspondence relationship between CIF values and component carrier identification indexes is set for each terminal apparatus.
