Abstract

A wireless communication system includes a setting unit for setting a number of resource block groups, each of the resource block groups including consecutive resource blocks on a frequency axis, and an allocating unit for allocating the resource blocks for an uplink channel such that the allocated resource blocks are not contiguous.

Claims (20)

1. A base station comprising:

a transmitter configured to transmit a downlink control information to a mobile station, the downlink control information being generated based on one of (1) a first uplink allocation information indicating a first frequency block corresponding to a first plurality of subcarriers which are contiguous in frequency and (2) a second uplink allocation information indicating a second frequency block corresponding to a second plurality of subcarriers which are contiguous in frequency and a third frequency block corresponding to a third plurality of subcarriers which are contiguous in frequency, a subcarrier which is not allocated to the mobile station being located between the second frequency block and the third frequency block; and

a receiver configured to receive (1) a first reference signal including a first reference signal sequence having a first sequence length corresponding to a first bandwidth of the first frequency block, in a case where the transmitted downlink control information is generated based on the first uplink allocation information, and (2) a second reference signal including a second reference signal sequence having a second sequence length corresponding to a second bandwidth which is a summation of a third bandwidth of the second frequency block and a fourth bandwidth of the third frequency block, in a case where the transmitted downlink control information is generated based on the second uplink allocation information.

2. The base station according to claim 1 , wherein the first uplink information is generated with an information of a starting resource block of the first frequency block and an information of a length corresponding to the first plurality of subcarriers.

3. The base station according to claim 1 , wherein the second uplink information is generated with an information of a starting resource of the second frequency block and an information of a starting resource of the third frequency block.

4. A mobile station comprising:

a receiver configured to receive a downlink control information from a base station, the downlink control information being generated based on one of (1) a first uplink allocation information indicating a first frequency block corresponding to a first plurality of subcarriers which are contiguous in frequency and (2) a second uplink allocation information indicating a second frequency block corresponding to a second plurality of subcarriers which are contiguous in frequency and a third frequency block corresponding to a third plurality of subcarriers which are contiguous in frequency, a subcarrier which is not allocated to the mobile station being located between the second frequency block and the third frequency block; and

a transmitter configured to transmit (1) a first reference signal including a first reference signal sequence having a first sequence length corresponding to a first bandwidth of the first frequency block, in a case where the received downlink control information is generated based on the first uplink allocation information, and (2) a second reference signal including a second reference signal sequence having a second sequence length corresponding to a second bandwidth which is a summation of a third bandwidth of the second frequency block and a fourth bandwidth of the third frequency block, in a case where the received downlink control information is generated based on the second uplink allocation information.

5. The mobile station according to claim 4 , wherein the first uplink information is generated with an information of a starting resource block of the first frequency block and an information of a length corresponding to the first plurality of subcarriers.

6. The mobile station according to claim 4 , wherein the second uplink information is generated with an information of a starting resource of the second frequency block and an information of a starting resource of the third frequency block.

7. A communication method by a base station, comprising:

transmitting, by the base station, a downlink control information to a mobile station, the downlink control information being generated based on one of (1) a first uplink allocation information indicating a first frequency block corresponding to a first plurality of subcarriers which are contiguous in frequency and (2) a second uplink allocation information indicating a second frequency block corresponding to a second plurality of subcarriers which are contiguous in frequency and a third frequency block corresponding to a third plurality of subcarriers which are contiguous in frequency, a subcarrier which is not allocated to the mobile station being located between the second frequency block and the third frequency block; and

receiving, by the base station, (1) a first reference signal including a first reference signal sequence having a first sequence length corresponding to a first bandwidth of the first frequency block, in a case where the transmitted downlink control information is generated based on the first uplink allocation information, and (2) a second reference signal including a second reference signal sequence having a second sequence length corresponding to a second bandwidth which is a summation of a third bandwidth of the second frequency block and a fourth bandwidth of the third frequency block, in a case where the transmitted downlink control information is generated based on the second uplink allocation information.

8. The communication method according to claim 7 , wherein the first uplink information is generated with an information of a starting resource block of the first frequency block and an information of a length corresponding to the first plurality of subcarriers.

9. The communication method according to claim 7 , wherein the second uplink information is generated with an information of a starting resource of the second frequency block and an information of a starting resource of the third frequency block.

10. A communication method by a mobile station comprising:

receiving, by the mobile station, a downlink control information from a base station, the downlink control information being generated based on one of (1) a first uplink allocation information indicating a first frequency block corresponding to a first plurality of subcarriers which are contiguous in frequency and (2) a second uplink allocation information indicating a second frequency block corresponding to a second plurality of subcarriers which are contiguous in frequency and a third frequency block corresponding to a third plurality of subcarriers which are contiguous in frequency, a subcarrier which is not allocated to the mobile station being located between the second frequency block and the third frequency block; and

transmitting, by the mobile station (1) a first reference signal including a first reference signal sequence having a first sequence length corresponding to a first bandwidth of the first frequency block, in a case where the received downlink control information is generated based on the first uplink allocation information, and (2) a second reference signal including a second reference signal sequence having a second sequence length corresponding to a second bandwidth which is a summation of a third bandwidth of the second frequency block and a fourth bandwidth of the third frequency block, in a case where the received downlink control information is generated based on the second uplink allocation information.
