Abstract

A shield can of a mobile terminal is provided. The shield can of the mobile terminal includes: at least one shield can installed in a main circuit board of the mobile terminal, and at least one separation wall formed between electronic elements in which electromagnetic interference occurs within the shield can. Hence, shield ability can be improved and simplified manufacturing process of the separation wall can reduce cost.

Claims (30)

1. An apparatus comprising:

at least one separation wall disposed between electronic elements, the at least one separation wall comprising a conductive and elastic material; and

a shield can having a hollow inner portion and an opening,

wherein the shield can houses the at least one separation wall and at least one of the electronic elements, and

wherein one end of the at least one separation wall is soldered to a printed circuit board.

2. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the shield can is disposed on the printed circuit board of the apparatus.

3. The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the shield can has an electrical contact with a surface of the printed circuit board.

4. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein at least one end of the at least one separation wall is coupled to an inner surface of the shield can.

5. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the at least one separation wall comprises one or more wall elements separated from one another.

6. The apparatus of claim 5 , wherein one end of at least one of the one or more wall elements is fixed using conductive adhesives, and the other end of the at least one of the one or more wall elements is coupled to an inner surface of the shield can.

7. The apparatus of claim 5 , wherein one end of at least one of the one or more wall elements is mounted on a ground portion, and the other end of the at least one of the one or more wall elements is coupled to an inner surface of the shield can.

8. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the at least one separation wall comprises the one or more wall elements coupled to one another and integrally formed.

9. An apparatus comprising:

at least one separation wall disposed between electronic elements, the at least one separation wall comprising a conductive and elastic material; and

a shield can comprising a conductive and a hard protective material, and having a hollow inner portion and an opening,

wherein the shield can houses the at least one separation wall and at least one of the electronic elements, and

wherein one end of the at least one separation wall is soldered to a printed circuit board.

10. The apparatus of claim 9 , wherein the shield can is disposed on the printed circuit board of the apparatus and has an electrical contact with a surface of the printed circuit board.

11. The apparatus of claim 9 , wherein at least one end of the at least one separation wall is coupled to an inner surface of the shield can.

12. The apparatus of claim 9 , wherein the at least one separation wall comprises one or more wall elements separated from one another.

13. The apparatus of claim 12 , wherein the at least one separation wall comprises one or more wall elements coupled to one another and integrally formed.

14. The apparatus of claim 12 , wherein one end of at least one of the one or more wall elements is fixed using conductive adhesives, and the other end of the at least one of the one or more wall elements is coupled to an inner surface of the shield can.

15. The apparatus of claim 12 , wherein one end of at least one of the one or more wall elements is mounted on a ground portion, and the other end of the at least one of the one or more wall elements is coupled to an inner surface of the shield can.

16. A shield can in an apparatus, the shield can comprising:

at least one separation wall disposed between electronic elements, the at least one separation wall comprising a conductive and elastic material; and

a conductive and a hard protective material, and having a hollow inner portion and an opening,

wherein the shield can houses the at least one separation wall and at least one of the electronic elements, and

wherein one end of the at least one separation wall is soldered to a printed circuit board.

17. The shield can of claim 16 , wherein the shield can is disposed on the printed circuit board of the apparatus and has an electrical contact with a surface of the printed circuit board.

18. The shield can of claim 17 , wherein the electronic elements are mounted on the surface of the printed circuit board.
