Abstract

A mobile communication system capable of communication control on the basis of load information transmitted/received between base stations by using inter-base-station communication, comprises: a base station eNB 1 ; a base station eNB 2 adjacent to the base station eNB 1 ; and at least one base station eNB 3 adjacent to the base station eNB 2 , wherein after receiving load information 3 of the base station eNB 3 from the base station eNB 3 , the base station eNB 2 transmits, to the base station eNB 1 , load information 2 of the base station eNB 2 weighted by using the load information 3 of the base station eNB 3.

Claims (20)

1. A mobile communication system capable of communication control on the basis of load information transmitted/received between base stations by using inter-base-station communication, comprising:

a first base station; a second base station adjacent to the first base station; and at least one third base station adjacent to the second base station, wherein

after receiving load information of the third base station from the third base station, the second base station transmits, to the first base station, load information of the second base station weighted by using the load information of the third base station,

when transmitting the load information of the second base station weighted using the load information of the third base station to the first base station, the second base station transmits, to the first base station, information indicating that the load information of the second base station has been weighted, and

the first base station transmits to the second base station, a load transmission request designating weighting.

2. The mobile communication system according to claim 1 , wherein

the first base station transmits a transmission request of the load information of the second base station to the second base station,

the second base station transmits a transmission request of the load information of the third base station to the third base station in response to reception of the transmission request from the first base station, and

the third base station transmits the load information of the third base station to the second base station in response to reception of the transmission request from the second base station.

3. The mobile communication system according to claim 1 , wherein

the first base station transmits a transmission request designating weighting or no weighting,

the second base station transmits, to the first base station, the load information of the second base station weighted by using the load information of the third base station, when the transmission request from the first base station designates weighting, and transmits, to the first base station, load information of the second base station not weighted by using the load information of the third base station, when the transmission request from the first base station designates no weighting.

4. A base station that operates as a second base station in a mobile communication system which includes a first base station, the second base station adjacent to the first base station, and at least one third base station adjacent to the second base station, and capable of communication control on the basis of load information transmitted/received between base stations, wherein

after receiving load information of the third base station from the third base station, the base station transmits, to the first base station, load information of the base station weighted by using the load information of the third base station,

when transmitting the load information of the base station weighted using the load information of the third base station to the first base station, the base station transmits, to the first base station, information indicating that the load information of the base station has been weighted, and

the first base station transmits to the base station, a load transmission request designating weighting.

5. A communication method used in a mobile communication system which includes a first base station, a second base station adjacent to the first base station, and at least one third base station adjacent to the second base station and capable of communication control on the basis of load information transmitted/received between base stations, comprising:

transmitting to the first base station, by the second base station, load information of the second base station weighted by using load information of the third base station after receiving the load information of the third base station from the third base station,

when transmitting the load information of the second base station weighted using the load information of the third base station to the first base station, transmitting to the first base station, by the second base station, information indicating that the load information of the second base station has been weighted, and

transmitting to the second base station, by the first base station, a load transmission request designating weighting.
