Abstract

This invention provides an organic EL element, which can control luminescence wavelength, exhibits high luminescence efficiency, and has a prolonged emission life, and a lighting equipment and a display device. They can be realized by an organic electroluminescent element material characterized by a metal complex having a structure represented by the following general formula (A) as a partial structure.

Claims (2)

1. An organic electroluminescent element material comprising a metal complex having a partial structure represented by Formula (1):

wherein X 01 , X 02 , X 03 , X 04 , X 05 , and X 06 each represent CR 01 , a nitrogen atom, NR 02 , or a sulfur atom, provided that at least one of X 04 and X 05 represents a nitrogen atom or NR 02 ; Y 01 represents a carbon; Y02 represents a carbon atom; R 01 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aromatic hydrocarbon ring group or an aromatic heterocyclic ring group, provided that at least one of X 01 , X 02 , X 03 , X 04 , X 05 , and X 06 represents CR 01 in which R 01 is a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl group; M 01 represents an Ir atom or a Pt atom; rings A and B each represent a single five membered ring, and bonds to form the rings A and B represent a single bond or a double bond.
