Abstract

A mobile device is provided. The mobile device includes a display unit, a sensor configured to sense user's touch done on a surface of the display unit in a disabled state of the display unit, a storage unit configured to store preset gesture information, a controller configured to enable the display unit when a user's touch operation matched with the gesture information is sensed, execute a wallet application, and display an execution screen, and a communication unit configured to transmit information for a selected payment option to an external apparatus when the payment option is selected on the execution screen and perform a payment. The payment is simply done.

Claims (27)

1. A mobile device comprising:

a display;

a sensor configured to sense a user's touch on a surface of the display in a disabled state;

a storage configured to store gesture information;

a controller configured to receive, from the sensor, said user's touch in a disabled state of the display, compare the received user's touch with the stored gesture information such that in response to a match between the received user's touch and the stored gesture information, the controller is configured to perform both: release the disabled state of the display and automatically execute the wallet application corresponding to the user's touch without further input from a user, and configured to control the display to display an execution screen with respect to the wallet application without further input from the user; and

a communication unit configured to, based on a received selection of making a payment in the executed wallet application, transmit, to an external apparatus, information for making a payment.

2. The mobile device as claimed in claim 1 , further comprising a fingerprint sensor configured to sense a fingerprint, wherein the controller releases the disabled state of the display and executes the wallet application when the user's touch operation matching the gesture information and a user's fingerprint matching predetermined fingerprint information, are sensed.

3. The mobile device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the disabled state of the display is a state in which the display is off, the display is in a sleep state, or a lock screen is displayed and wherein the release of the display comprising unlocking or waking up the display from the disabled state and displaying the execution screen of the wallet application instead of a main screen of the display.

4. The mobile device as claimed in claim 3 , wherein the user's touch is a single gesture in which a plurality of points are touched on a surface of the display and move to increase a distance therebetween.

5. A payment method of a mobile device, the method comprising:

sensing, by a sensor, a user's touch on a surface of a display of the mobile device in a disabled state;

comparing the sensed user's touch with a stored gesture information;

in response to a match between the sensed user's touch and the stored gesture information based on said comparing, performing both: releasing the disabled state of the display and automatically executing a wallet application corresponding to the user's touch without further input from a user, and displaying an execution screen of the wallet application without further input from e user; and

based on a received selection of making a payment in the executed wallet application, transmitting from the mobile device to an external apparatus information for making a payment.

6. The method as claimed in claim 5 , further comprising:

sensing a fingerprint; and

determining whether or not the sensed fingerprint matches predetermined fingerprint information wherein the wallet application is executed when the user's touch matching the gesture information and a user's fingerprint matching the predetermined fingerprint information are sensed.

7. The method as claimed in claim 5 , wherein the disabled state of the display is a state in which the display is off, the display is in a sleep state, or a lock screen is displayed and wherein the releasing of the display comprises unlocking or waking up the display from the disabled state and displaying the execution screen of the wallet application instead of a main screen of the display.

8. The method as claimed in claim 7 , wherein the user's touch is a single gesture in which a plurality of points are touched on a surface of the display and move to increase a distance therebetween.

9. The mobile device of claim 1 , wherein the user's touch is a swiping gesture in which a plurality of points are touched on a surface of the display and a swiping motion is made to increase a distance between the plurality of touched points.

10. The mobile device of claim 1 , wherein the user's touch is a swiping gesture performed by at least two fingers moving away from each other.

11. The mobile device of claim 1 , wherein the mobile device is a smartphone.

12. The mobile device of claim 1 , wherein the stored gesture information comprises a particular gesture corresponding to executing two predetermined actions comprising unlocking the mobile device and automatically executing the wallet application, wherein in response to the particular gesture, the execution screen of the wallet application is displayed directly after a lock screen displayed in the disabled state of the mobile device.

13. The mobile device of claim 1 , wherein the stored gesture information comprises a predetermined gesture which is a command to execute two different actions by the mobile device.

14. The mobile device of claim 13 , wherein the two actions comprise a first action which is one of turning on the mobile device, waking up the mobile device, and unlocking the mobile device and a second action which is loading and executing the wallet application,

wherein, in response to the predetermined gesture, the mobile device direct transitions from a dark screen of the mobile device in the disabled state to the execution screen of the wallet application without said further user input.

15. The mobile device of claim 14 , wherein the second action further comprises displaying the execution screen of the wallet application without any initial display of the wallet application for a selection by the user.
