Abstract

An imaging device includes an imaging section, an image segmenting section, and a blur enhancement section. The imaging section images a field to generate photographic image data. The image segmenting section partitions an image of the photographic image data into a first region that is a main subject region and a second region where the main subject is not included. The blur detecting section detects degree of blur of an image of the second region of the image of the photographic image data. The blur enhancement section performs blur enhancement processing on the image of the second region to enlarge the degree of blur of the image after image processing in proportion to the magnitude of the detected degree of blur of the image.

Claims (20)

1. An image device, comprising:

an imaging section imaging a subject to generate image data;

an image processing section segmenting the image data imaged by the imaging section into a plurality of regions depending on a degree of blur of each of the plurality of regions and performing different image processing for each of the plurality of regions; and

a displaying section displaying image data subjected to the image processing in the image processing section.

2. The image device according to claim 1 , wherein

the image processing section converts a size of the image data imaged in the imaging section to a size matching to the displaying section.

3. The image device according to claim 1 , wherein

the image processing section segments the regions of the image data into a region including a main subject and a region other than the region including the main subject depending on the degree of blur of each of i) the region including the main subject and ii) the region other than the region including the main subject.

4. The image device according to claim 3 , wherein

the image processing section performs a process that makes the degree of blur of the region other than the region including the main subject larger than the degree of blur of the region including the main subject.

5. The image device according to claim 4 , wherein

the image processing section performs blur enhancement process on the region other than the region including the main subject.

6. The image device according to claim 1 , wherein

the image processing section segments the regions of the image data into a region including a person and a region not including a person depending on the degree of blur of each of i) the region including the person and ii) the region not including the person.

7. The image device according to claim 6 , wherein

the image processing section performs a process that makes the degree of blur of the region not including the person larger than the degree of blur of the region including the person.

8. The image device according to claim 7 , wherein

the image processing section performs blur enhancement process on the region not including the person.

9. The image device according to claim 1 , wherein

the image processing section segments the image data imaged by the imaging section into the plurality of regions depending on the degree of blur of each of the plurality of regions, the degree of blur of each of the plurality of regions being calculated based on a spatial frequency component of each of the plurality of regions.
