Claims (28)

1. A paper sheet handling apparatus comprising:

a transport unit that transports paper sheets one by one;

a recognition unit that recognizes the paper sheets transported by the transport unit;

a stacking unit that stacks the paper sheets recognized by the recognition unit; and

a control unit that controls the transport unit and the stacking unit;

wherein the control unit controls a batch process to stack a predetermined number of paper sheets in the stacking unit; and

wherein the control unit controls the notification of the number of times that a batch process is completed.

2. The paper sheet handling apparatus according to claim 1 ,

wherein the stacking unit includes a first stacking unit to stack first paper sheets and a second stacking unit to stack second paper sheets,

the recognition unit recognizes fitness of the paper sheets, and

the control unit controls stacking the first paper sheets in the first stacking unit and the second paper sheets in the second stacking unit.

3. The paper sheet handling apparatus according to claim 1 ,

wherein the stacking unit includes a first paper sheet stacking unit to stack first paper sheets and a second stacking unit to stack second paper sheets, and

the control unit controls stacking the first paper sheets in the first stacking unit and the second paper sheets in the second stacking unit based on a setting that the number of times that a batch process is completed differs between the first stacking unit and the second stacking unit.

4. The paper sheet handling apparatus according to claim 1 , further comprising a display unit,

wherein the control unit controls the display unit to display the number of times that a batch process is completed.

5. The paper sheet handling apparatus according to claim 1 ,

wherein the stacking unit includes a first stacking unit to stack first paper sheets and a second stacking unit to stack second paper sheets, and

the control unit controls stacking the first paper sheets in the first stacking unit and the second paper sheets in the second stacking unit based on a setting that the predetermined number of paper sheets differs between the first stacking unit and the second stacking unit.

6. The paper sheet handling apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the control unit determines completion of one batch process based on when the predetermined number of paper sheets have been stacked in the stacking unit.

7. The paper sheet handling apparatus according to claim 1 , further comprising a display unit,

wherein the control unit controls displaying information that the number of times that a batch process has been completed has reached a prescribed number of times.

8. The paper sheet handling apparatus according to claim 7 , wherein the control unit controls the display unit to display a symbol when the number of times that a batch process has been completed has reached the prescribed number of times.

9. The paper sheet handling apparatus according to claim 7 , wherein

the stacking unit includes a first stacking unit to stack first paper sheets and a second stacking unit to stack second paper sheets,

the display unit includes a first display area to display information on the first stacking unit and a second display area to display information on the second stacking unit, and

the control unit controls displaying the number of times that a batch process has been completed with respect to the first stacking unit near the first display area and,

the control unit controls displaying the number of times that a batch process has been completed with respect to the second stacking unit near the second display area.
