Multicarrier-based data transmission method and apparatus in mobile communication system
A multicarrier-based data transmission method and an apparatus for use in a mobile communication system are provided. A Radio Network Temporary Identity (RNTI) reception method of a terminal in a wireless communication system supporting inter-evolved Node B (eNB) carrier aggregation includes receiving cell information on at least one activated cell under control of an eNB, configuring first and second RNTIs allocated by the eNB, monitoring the at least one activated cell for the first RNTI, and monitoring a primary cell among the at least one activated cell for the second RNTI.
1. A method by a terminal, the method comprising:
receiving a first message including a first cell-radio network temporary identifier (C-RNTI) for a master cell group (MCG);
receiving a second message including a second C-RNTI for a secondary cell group (SCG);
monitoring at least one activated cell of the MCG based on the first C-RNTI for the MCG;
monitoring at least one activated cell of the SCG based on the second C-RNTI for the SCG;
receiving a third message including a first RNTI for a power control of a PUCCH for the MCG;
receiving a forth message including a second RNTI for a power control of a PUCCH for the SCG;
monitoring a primary cell (pcell) of the MCG based on the first RNTI for the power control of the PUCCH for the MCG; and
monitoring a primary secondary cell (pscell) of the SCG based on the second RNTI for the power control of the PUCCH for the SCG.
2. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
identifying at least one of a paging-RNTI (P-RNTI) and a system information-RNTI (SI-RNTI) for the terminal; and
monitoring a primary cell (pcell) of the MCG based on the at least one of the P-RNTI and the SI-RNTI.
3. The method of claim 1 ,
wherein the first message comprises a handover message and the second message comprises a message for configuring the SCG for a dual connectivity.
4. The method of claim 1 ,
wherein the third message comprises a radio resource control (RRC) connection reconfiguration message, and
wherein the forth message comprises a control message for configuring the pscell of the SCG.
5. A terminal in a wireless communication system, the terminal comprising:
a transceiver configured to transmit and receive a signal; and
a controller configured to control the transceiver to:
receive a first message including a first cell-radio network temporary identifier (C-RNTI) for a master cell group (MCG),
receive a second message including a second C-RNTI for a secondary cell group (SCG),
monitor at least one activated cell of the MCG based on the first C-RNTI for the MCG,
monitor at least one activated cell of the SCG based on the second C-RNTI for the SCG,
receive a third message including a first RNTI for a power control of a PUCCH for the MCG,
receive a forth message including a second RNTI for a power control of a PUCCH for the SCG,
monitor a primary cell (pcell) of the MCG based on the first RNTI for the power control of the PUCCH for the MCG, and
monitor a primary secondary cell (pscell) of the SCG based on the second RNTI for the power control of the PUCCH for the SCG.
6. The terminal of claim 5 ,
wherein the controller is further configured to identify at least one of a paging-RNTI (P-RNTI) and a system information-RNTI (SI-RNTI) for the terminal and monitor a primary cell (pcell) of the MCG based on the at least one of the P-RNTI and the SI-RNTI.
7. The terminal of claim 5 , wherein the first message comprises a handover message and the second message comprises a message for configuring the SCG for a dual connectivity.
8. The terminal of claim 5 ,
wherein the third message comprises a radio resource control (RRC) connection reconfiguration message, and
wherein the forth message comprises a control message for configuring the pscell of the SCG.
9. A method by a base station, the method comprises:
transmitting a first message including a first cell-radio network temporary identifier (C-RNTI) for a master cell group (MCG);
transmitting a second message including a second C-RNTI for a secondary cell group (SCG);
transmitting, on at least one activated cell of the MCG, control information generated by using the first C-RNTI for the MCG;
transmitting, on at least one activated cell of the SCG, control information generated by using the second C-RNTI for the SCG;
transmitting a third message including a first RNTI for a power control of a PUCCH for the MCG;
transmitting a forth message including a second RNTI for a power control of a PUCCH for the SCG,
transmitting, on a primary cell (pcell) of the MCG, control information generated by using the first RNTI for the power control of the PUCCH for the MCG; and
transmitting, on a primary secondary cell (pscell) of the SCG, control information generated by using the second RNTI for the power control of the PUCCH for the SCG.
10. A base station, in a wireless communication system, the base station comprises:
a transceiver configured to transmit and receive a signal; and
a controller configured to control the transceiver to:
transmit a first message including a first cell-radio network temporary identifier (C-RNTI) for a master cell group (MCG),
transmit a second message including a second C-RNTI for a secondary cell group (SCG),
transmit, on at least one activated cell of the MCG, control information generated by using the first C-RNTI for the MCG,
transmit, on at least one activated cell of the SCG, control information generated by using the second C-RNTI for the SCG,
transmit a third message including a first RNTI for a power control of a PUCCH for the MCG,
transmit a forth message including a second RNTI for a power control of a PUCCH for the SCG,
transmit, on a primary cell (pcell) of the MCG, control information generated by using the first RNTI for the power control of the PUCCH for the MCG, and
transmit, on a primary secondary cell (pscell) of the SCG, control information generated by using the second RNTI for the power control of the PUCCH for the SCG.
