Abstract

The invention relates to an antigen binding site for binding to a P2X 7 receptor, the antigen binding site being defined by general formula 1: FR1-CDR1-FR2-CDR2-FR3-CDR3-FR4

Claims (152)

1. An antigen binding site for binding to a P2X7 receptor, the antigen binding site being defined by general formula:

FR1-CDR1-FR2-CDR2-FR3-CDR3-FR4

wherein:

FR1, FR2, FR3 and FR4 are each framework regions;

CDR1, CDR2 and CDR3 are each complementarity determining regions;

3. A nucleic acid encoding an antigen binding site according to claim 1 .

4. A method for the treatment of cancer that expresses non-functional P2X7 receptor in an individual including the step of administering an antigen binding site according to claim 1 to an individual requiring treatment for said cancer.
