Abstract

A systems, method, and apparatus to improve connections within a healthcare ecosystem are provided. Example systems, methods, and apparatus can facilitate dynamic interface definition and configuration. An example method includes storing a plurality of reusable interface and route definitions to translate and exchange data messages between source and target systems in a healthcare ecosystem; monitoring message exchanges and message patterns in the healthcare environment via a machine learning system to predict traffic and utilization patterns in the healthcare ecosystem; tracking metadata regarding connections involving the source and target systems and storing the metadata in a graph database; suggesting connections between the source and target systems based on the monitored message exchanges and message patterns and metadata from the graph database using graph analytics; provisioning an interface between the source and target systems based on a suggested connection, the interface provisioned from the reusable interface and route definitions based on the suggested connection.

Claims (36)

1. A method to facilitate dynamic interface definition and configuration via an integration platform, the method comprising:

storing, using a particularly configured processor, a plurality of reusable interface and route definitions to translate and exchange data messages between source and target systems in a healthcare ecosystem;

monitoring, using the processor, message exchanges and message patterns in the healthcare environment via a machine learning system to predict traffic and utilization patterns in the healthcare ecosystem;

tracking, using the processor, metadata regarding connections involving the source and target systems and storing the metadata in a graph database;

suggesting, using the processor, connections between the source and target systems based on the monitored message exchanges and message patterns and metadata from the graph database using graph analytics; and

provisioning, using the processor, an interface between the source system and the target system based on a suggested connection, the interface provisioned from the plurality of reusable interface and route definitions based on the suggested connection.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the processor comprises a plurality of particularly configured processors.

3. The method of claim 1 , further comprising routing, via the provisioned interface, a response from the target system to the source system, wherein the response from the target system is received by the source system and embedded into business processing logic of the source system.

4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the interface is provisioned from the plurality of reusable interface and route definitions as an interface as a service.

5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the source system comprises a content source system and the target system comprises a subscriber target system, and wherein a bus-based router is used to create and provision a cloud-based interface.

6. The method of claim 5 , wherein the bus-based router acquires messages, discovers connections between the acquired messages, processes the messages, and routes the messages over the provisioned cloud-based interface.

7. The method of claim 1 , further comprising publishing a configured interface to a shared registry for provisioning between source and target systems.

8. The method of claim 1 , further comprising facilitating, using the processor, secure and trusted message exchanges between the source and target systems by establishing and enforcing business associate agreements between message senders and receivers.

9. A computer storage medium including program instructions for execution by a particularly configured computing device to perform a method to improve connections within a healthcare ecosystem, the method comprising:

storing a plurality of reusable interface and route definitions to translate and exchange data messages between source and target systems in a healthcare ecosystem;

monitoring message exchanges and message patterns in the healthcare environment via a machine learning system to predict traffic and utilization patterns in the healthcare ecosystem;

tracking metadata regarding connections involving the source and target systems and storing the metadata in a graph database;

suggesting connections between the source and target systems based on the monitored message exchanges and message patterns and metadata from the graph database using graph analytics; and

provisioning an interface between the source system and the target system based on a suggested connection, the interface provisioned from the plurality of reusable interface and route definitions based on the suggested connection.

10. The computer storage medium of claim 9 , wherein the computing device comprises a plurality of particularly configured processors.

11. The computer storage medium of claim 9 , wherein the method further comprises routing, via the provisioned interface, a response from the target system to the source system, wherein the response from the target system is received by the source system and embedded into business processing logic of the source system.

12. The computer storage medium of claim 9 , wherein the interface is provisioned from the plurality of reusable interface and route definitions as an interface as a service.

13. The computer storage medium of claim 9 , wherein the source system comprises a content source system and the target system comprises a subscriber target system, and wherein a bus-based router is used to create and provision a cloud-based interface.

14. The computer storage medium of claim 13 , wherein the bus-based router acquires messages, discovers connections between the acquired messages, processes the messages, and routes the messages over the provisioned cloud-based interface.

15. The computer storage medium of claim 9 , wherein the method further comprises publishing a configured interface to a shared registry for provisioning between source and target systems.

16. An integration platform system to facilitate dynamic interface definition and configuration, the integration platform system comprising:

a particularly configured processor, the processor particularly configured to at least:

store a plurality of reusable interface and route definitions to translate and exchange data messages between source and target systems in a healthcare ecosystem;

monitor message exchanges and message patterns in the healthcare environment via a machine learning system to predict traffic and utilization patterns in the healthcare ecosystem;

track metadata regarding connections involving the source and target systems and storing the metadata in a graph database;

suggest connections between the source and target systems based on the monitored message exchanges and message patterns and metadata from the graph database using graph analytics; and

provision an interface between the source system and the target system based on a suggested connection, the interface provisioned from the plurality of reusable interface and route definitions based on the suggested connection.

17. The integration platform system of claim 16 , wherein the processor comprises a plurality of particularly configured processors.

18. The integration platform system of claim 16 , wherein the processor is further configured to route, via the provisioned interface, a response from the target system to the source system, wherein the response from the target system is received by the source system and embedded into business processing logic of the source system.

19. The integration platform system of claim 16 , wherein the interface is provisioned from the plurality of reusable interface and route definitions as an interface as a service.

20. The integration platform system of claim 16 , wherein the source system comprises a content source system and the target system comprises a subscriber target system, and wherein a bus-based router is used to create and provision a cloud-based interface.
