Abstract

An information processing apparatus includes a controller. If images related to devices that have been identified are superimposed on one another, the controller causes information about one or plural cooperative functions that use functions of the devices to be displayed.

Claims (22)

1. An information processing apparatus comprising:

a controller configured to identify a plurality of devices by capturing images of the plurality of devices with an image capturing unit and to cause, in response to a plurality of images related to the plurality of devices being superimposed on one another by a user, a display to display information about a cooperative function that uses functions of the plurality of devices,

wherein the controller is further configured to cause the display to display a new image in response to the plurality of images related to the plurality of devices being superimposed on one another by the user such that the new image displayed simultaneously with an image relating to a device that as not been superimposed.

The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the controller is further configured to, in response to a selection of an image to be superimposed being made and then the selection being cancelled in a region where the image is not displayed on a screen displayed by the controller, cancel the cooperative function.

3. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the controller is further configured to associate positions in each of the plurality of images with different functions that are assigned to the cooperative function.

4. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the controller is further configured to change an order of priority in which the cooperative function is displayed in accordance with an order in which the plurality of images are superimposed on one another.

5. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the plurality of images are images captured by the image capturing unit.

6. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 , further comprising:

a memory configured to store images of the plurality of devices obtained through the image capturing performed by the image capturing unit, the images corresponding to the plurality of images related to the plurality of devices.

7. The information processing apparatus according to claim 6 , wherein the controller is further configured to read the images of the plurality of devices stored in the memory and to cause the display to display an edit screen that is used to superimpose the plurality of images on one another.

8. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the new image is related to the plurality of images superimposed on one another.

9. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the new image includes a combination of the plurality of images superimposed on one another.

The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the controller is further configured to change a field of view of the image capturing unit while causing the new image generated through last superimposition to be displayed, and to cause the display to display an image obtained through image capturing in the field of view.

11. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein, in response to the cooperative function being executed, the controller is further configured to cause the display to display the new image as a display image for providing an instruction to execute the cooperative function.

12. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the controller is further configured to use the new image as an image to be superimposed on an image related to a next target device to be linked.

The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the controller is further configured to cause the display to display a screen that guides registration of the cooperative function corresponding to the new image, and to cause the screen to display information about the cooperative function corresponding to the new image.

14. The information processing apparatus according to claim 13 , wherein the information about the cooperative function includes information that is changeable in accordance with an instruction provided by the user.

15. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the controller is further configured to designate an image to be superimposed in accordance with a voice instruction provided by the user.

The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein, in response to portions of the plurality of images being superimposed on one another, the controller is further configured to cause the display to display information about the cooperative function that uses functions corresponding to the portions of the plurality of images.

17. A non-transitory computer readable medium storing a program causing a computer to execute a process, the process comprising:

identifying a plurality of devices by capturing images of the plurality of devices with an image capturing unit and causing, in response to a plurality of images related to the plurality of devices being superimposed on one another by a user, a display to display information about a cooperative function that uses functions of the plurality of devices,

wherein the causing of the display to display information further comprises causing the display to display a new image in response to the plurality of images related to the plurality of devices being superimposed on one another by the user such that the new image is displayed simultaneously with an image relating to a device that has not been superimposed.
