Abstract

A profit redistribution device, profit redistribution method, program storage medium, profit redistribution system, content providing device, content providing method, program storage media, and content providing system are disclosed. Profit redistribution processing is performed according to the accumulated points proportionate to the number of times the content with a commercial video is provided to a client PC. Thus, a fair profit redistribution can be easily performed. A preset content with a commercial video is provided to a user when requested from the client PC, and it is possible to provide advertisement information without the user being aware of the commercial.

Claims (49)

1. A server apparatus comprising:

at least one storage device configured to store at least one database; and

at least one processor configured to:

receive at least one user identification data from an external device of a content creator and through a computer network,

register the at least one user identification data as a content creator in the storage device,

create webpage data associated with the user identification data based on the registered content creator;

generate a first user interface using the webpage data, the first user interface enabling setting of a start time for a live video stream and the user interface displaying a screen that simultaneously displays all of a plurality of available codec choices in association with selection identifiers to enable selection of a corresponding one of a plurality of codecs for the live video stream;

transmit the first user interface to the external device associated with the registered content creator, wherein the external device is configured to generate, using the first user interface, a schedule control file comprising the set start time, the selected codec, and selection information of an advertisement that causes the advertisement to be provided with the live video stream;

receive, at the server, the schedule control file from the external device associated with the registered content creator;

generate a second user interface using the webpage data from the external device associated with the registered content creator to transmit the live video stream through the computer network;

transmit the second user interface to at least one client device external to the server apparatus, wherein the at least one client device is configured to start the live video stream and advertisement at the set start time using the selected codec;

determine a number of accesses of the content related to the advertisement,

calculate profit data based on the determined number of accesses of content related to the advertisement, and

associate the calculated profit data with the at least one database stored in the storage device.

2. The apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the first user interface enables the content creator to set an end time for the live video stream.

3. The apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the first user interface enables the content creator to select a date for the start time of the live video stream.

4. The apparatus according to claim 3 , wherein the first user interface displays a monthly calendar for selection of the date for the start time of the live video stream, the monthly calendar displaying days in a month as an array in which each column corresponds to a week day.

5. The apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the first user interface enables the content creator to select a category for the live video stream.

6. The apparatus according to claim 5 , wherein selection of the category for the live video stream is performed via a menu displayed in the first user interface.

7. The apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the advertisement is a banner advertisement.

8. The apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the first user interface enables the content creator to select whether the live video stream is viewable at a plurality of client devices.

9. The apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the first user interface enables the content creator to enter title information for the live video stream.

10. The apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the first user interface enables the content creator to enter a video type for the live video stream.

11. A method for a server apparatus, the method comprising:

storing, in a storage device, at least one database;

receiving, with at least one processor, at least one user identification data from an external device of a content creator through a computer network;

registering the at least one user identification data as a content creator in the storage device,

creating webpage data associated with the user identification data based on the registered content creator;

generating a first user interface using the webpage data, the first user interface enabling setting of a start time for a live video stream and the user interface displaying a screen that simultaneously displays all of a plurality of available codec choices in association with selection identifiers to enable selection of a corresponding one of a plurality of codecs for the live video stream;

transmitting the first user interface to the external device associated with the registered content creator, wherein the external device is configured to generate, using the first user interface, a schedule control file comprising the set start time, the selected codec, and selection information of an advertisement that causes the advertisement to be provided with the live video stream;

receiving, at the server, the schedule control file from the external device associated with the registered content creator;

generating a second user interface using the webpage data from the external device associated with the registered content creator to transmit the live video stream through the computer network;

transmitting the second user interface to at least one client device external to the server apparatus, wherein the at least one client device is configured to start the live video stream and advertisement at the set start time using the selected codec;

determining a number of accesses of the content related to the advertisement,

calculating profit data based on the determined number of accesses of content related to the advertisement, and

associating the calculated profit data with the at least one database stored in the storage device.

12. A non-transitory computer-readable medium encoded with computer-readable instructions that, when executed by at least one processor of a server apparatus, cause the at least one processor to perform steps comprising:

storing, in a storage device, at least one database;

receiving, with at least one processor, at least one user identification data from an external device of a content creator through a computer network;

registering the at least one user identification data as a content creator in the storage device,

creating webpage data associated with the user identification data based on the registered content creator;

generating a first user interface using the webpage data, the first user interface enabling setting of a start time for a live video stream and the user interface displaying a screen that simultaneously displays all of a plurality of available codec choices in association with selection identifiers to enable selection of a corresponding one of a plurality of codecs for the live video stream;

transmitting the first user interface to the external device associated with the registered content creator, wherein the external device is configured to generate, using the first user interface, a schedule control file comprising the set start time, the selected codec, and selection information of an advertisement that causes the advertisement to be provided with the live video stream;

receiving, at the server, the schedule control file from the external device associated with the registered content creator;

generating a second user interface using the webpage data from the external device associated with the registered content creator to transmit the live video stream through the computer network;

transmitting the second user interface to at least one client device external to the server apparatus, wherein the at least one client device is configured to start the live video stream and advertisement at the set start time using the selected codec;

determining a number of accesses of the content related to the advertisement,

calculating profit data based on the determined number of accesses of content related to the advertisement, and

associating the calculated profit data with the at least one database stored in the storage device.
