A garment includes a trouser portion including first and second legs, a bib portion having a bib front section connected to a front portion of the trouser portion and a bib rear section connected to a rear portion of the trouser portion, wherein first and second gaps having no material are formed adjacent two opposing sides of the trouser portion between the bib front and rear sections, and a first fastener extending between an end of the first leg opposite the bib portion and an edge of the trouser portion forming one of the first and second gaps.
1. A garment comprising:
a trouser portion including a trunk portion and first and second legs connected to and extending away from the trunk portion, the trunk portion including a trunk front section, a trunk rear section, and first and second trunk side sections positioned between the trunk front and rear sections;
a bib portion having a bib front section connected to the trunk front section and a bib rear section connected to the trunk rear section, wherein first and second gaps having no material are formed between upper edges of the first and second trunk side portions and the bib front and rear sections, respectively;
a first zipper;
a second zipper; and
at least one fastener;
wherein the first zipper and the at least one fastener in combination extend along a length between an end of the first leg opposite the trunk portion and the upper edge of the first trunk side portion such that an entirety of the first leg is capable of opening to expose a leg of a person wearing the garment;
wherein the first zipper is positioned to fasten the first leg as the first zipper travels away from the upper edge of the first trunk side portion and towards the end of the first leg opposite the trunk portion;
wherein the second zipper extends between an end of the second leg opposite the trunk portion and the upper edge of the second trunk side portion; and
wherein the second zipper is positioned to fasten the second leg as the zipper travels away from the upper edge of the second trunk side portion and towards the end of the second leg opposite the trunk portion.
2. The garment of claim 1 , further including first and second straps connected between the bib front and rear sections.
3. The garment of claim 2 , further including:
a first permanent connector connecting the first strap to the bib rear section;
a first non-permanent connector connecting the first strap to the bib front section;
a second permanent connector connecting the second strap to the bib rear section; and
a second non-permanent connector connecting the second strap to the bib front section.
4. The garment of claim 3 , wherein each of the first and second non-permanent connectors are selected from the group consisting of a button, a zipper, a latch, a hook, and hook and loop fasteners.
5. The garment of claim 1 further including a first flap that extends from the first leg and covers at least a portion of the first zipper.
6. A garment comprising:
a trouser portion including first and second legs;
a bib portion having a bib front section connected to a front portion of the trouser portion and a bib rear section connected to a rear portion of the trouser portion, wherein first and second gaps having no material are formed adjacent two opposing sides of the trouser portion between the bib front and rear sections; and
at least a first fastener extending along an entire length of the first leg between an end of the first leg opposite the bib portion and an edge of the trouser portion forming one of the first and second gaps such that an entirety of the first leg is capable of opening to expose a leg of a person wearing the garment as the first fastener is pulled towards the bib portion,
at least a second fastener extending along an entire length of the second leg between an end of the second leg opposite the bib portion and an edge of the trouser portion forming the other of the first and second leg gaps such that an entirety of the second leg is capable of opening to expose a leg of a person wearing the garment as the second fastener is pulled towards the bib portion;
wherein the garment includes a plurality of pockets, of which at least one pocket includes a zipper; and
wherein the first and second fasteners include zippers.
7. The garment of claim 6 , further including first and second straps connected between the bib front and rear sections.
8. The garment of claim 7 , further including:
a first permanent connector connecting the first strap to the bib rear section;
a first non-permanent connector connecting the first strap to the bib front section;
a second permanent connector connecting the second strap to the bib rear section; and
a second non-permanent connector connecting the second strap to the bib front section.
9. The garment of claim 8 , wherein each of the first and second non-permanent connectors includes a first connector and a second connector detachably connected to one another.
10. The garment of claim 8 , wherein each of the first and second non-permanent connectors are selected from the group consisting of a button, a zipper, a latch, a hook, and hook and loop fasteners.
11. The garment of claim 6 , wherein the garment is made from a fire resistant material and at least one material selected from the group consisting of cotton, denim, and polyester.
12. A method of using a garment comprising a trouser portion including first and second legs, a bib portion having a bib front section connected to a front portion of the trouser portion and a bib rear section connected to a rear portion of the trouser portion, wherein first and second gaps having no material are formed adjacent two opposing sides of the trouser portion between the bib front and rear sections, at least a first zipper extending an entire length of the first leg between an end of the first leg opposite the bib portion and an edge of the trouser portion forming the first gap, and a at least a second zipper extending an entire length of the second leg between an end of the second leg opposite the bib portion and an edge of the trouser portion forming the second gap, the method comprising the steps of:
positioning the garment with the first and second zippers unfastened and with an inner surface of the trouser portion between the legs of a user, wherein the garment is made from a fire resistant material, and at least one material selected from the group consisting of cotton, denim, and polyester;
positioning the first and second legs of the garment around the legs of the user;
pulling a first strap attached to a first edge of the bib portion opposite the trouser portion over a first shoulder of a user;
fastening the first strap to a second edge of the bib portion;
pulling a second strap attached to the first edge of the bib portion opposite the trouser portion over a second shoulder of a user;
fastening the second strap to the second edge of the bib portion;
fastening the first zipper by pulling away from the bib portion;
fastening the second zipper by pulling away from the bib portion;
fastening a first pocket fastener and a second pocket fastener; and
wherein the recited steps are performed without a user having to insert a foot through any portion of the garment.
13. The method of claim 12 further including the steps of:
unfastening the first zipper by pulling towards the bib portion;
unfastening the second zipper by pulling towards the bib portion; and
removing the garment at least by pulling the garment through the legs of the user.
