Abstract

A bone graft delivery system includes an elongate tube configured to couple to the handle and receive a bone graft material and a rasp. The rasp includes a lumen configured to receive at least a portion of the elongate tube, a rasping surface configured to decorticate bone, one or more openings configured to deliver bone graft material from the elongate tube when the lumen receives at least a portion of the elongate tube, and a handle portion configured to be gripped in use to facilitate movement of the rasping surface to decorticate bone.

a handle portion positioned at a proximal section of the elongate body and configured to be gripped in use to facilitate movement of the rasping surface to decorticate bone.

2. The bone graft delivery system of claim 1 , wherein the rasp comprises a handle section comprising the handle portion at a proximal end of the rasp, a connection section distal to the handle section, a curved or angled section distal to the connection section, the connection section connecting the handle section to the curved or angled section, and a tip distal to the curved or angled section comprising the rasping surface.

3. The bone graft delivery system of claim 2 , wherein the one or more openings are provided within the tip.

4. The bone graft delivery system of claim 3 , wherein the lumen extends through the handle portion and the connection section and is in fluid communication with the one or more openings in the tip.

5. The bone graft delivery system of claim 1 , further comprising a guide comprising a lumen configured to receive at least a portion of the rasp.

6. The bone graft delivery system of claim 5 , wherein the guide comprises a dilator body and an elongate opening at a proximal end of the guide shaped and dimensioned to facilitate movement of the rasp beyond an edge of the dilator body.

7. A bone graft delivery system comprising:

an elongate tube configured to receive a bone graft material; and

a rasp comprising:

a lumen configured to receive at least a portion of the elongate tube;

a rasping surface positioned at the distal end of the rasp and configured to decorticate bone material of a patient;

one or more openings configured to deliver bone graft material from the elongate tube when the lumen receives at least a portion of the elongate tube; and

a handle portion configured to be gripped in use to facilitate movement of the rasping surface to decorticate bone; and

a guide comprising a lumen configured to receive at least a portion of the rasp;

wherein the guide comprises an elongate slot extending longitudinally between a distal end and a proximal end of the guide.

8. The bone graft delivery system of claim 5 , wherein the guide comprises a handle at a proximal end of the guide.

9. The bone graft delivery system of claim 1 , further comprising a sheath configured to slide over at least a portion of the rasp.

10. A bone graft delivery system comprising:

an elongate tube configured to receive a bone graft material; and

a rasp comprising:

a lumen configured to receive at least a portion of the elongate tube;

a rasping surface positioned at the distal end of the rasp and configured to decorticate bone material of a patient;

one or more openings configured to deliver bone graft material from the elongate tube when the lumen receives at least a portion of the elongate tube;

a handle portion configured to be gripped in use to facilitate movement of the rasping surface to decorticate bone; and

a sheath configured to slide over at least a portion of the rasp, wherein at least a portion of the sheath is configured to slide within at least a portion of the rasp.

11. A rasping system comprising:

a rasp comprising:

an elongate body extending between a proximal end and a distal end;

a lumen extending through the elongate body and configured to receive at least a portion of an elongate tube;

a rasping surface positioned at the distal end of the elongate body and configured to decorticate bone material of a patient;

one or more openings configured to deliver a bone graft material from the elongate tube when the lumen receives at least a portion of the elongate tube; and

a handle portion positioned at a proximal section of the elongate body and configured to be gripped in use to facilitate movement of the rasping surface to decorticate bone; and

a sheath coupled to the rasp and configured to slide over at least a portion of the rasp.

12. A rasping system comprising:

a rasp comprising:

a lumen configured to receive at least a portion of an elongate tube;

a rasping surface positioned at the distal end of the rasp and configured to decorticate bone material of a patient;

one or more openings configured to deliver a bone graft material from the elongate tube when the lumen receives at least a portion of the elongate tube; and

a handle portion positioned at a proximal section of the rasp and configured to be gripped in use to facilitate movement of the rasping surface to decorticate bone; and

a sheath coupled to the rasp and configured to slide over at least a portion of the rasp, wherein at least a portion of the sheath is configured to slide within at least a portion of the rasp.

13. A rasping system comprising:

a rasp comprising:

a lumen configured to receive at least a portion of an elongate tube;

a rasping surface positioned at the distal end of the rasp and configured to decorticate bone material of a patient;

one or more openings configured to deliver a bone graft material from the elongate tube when the lumen receives at least a portion of the elongate tube; and

a handle portion positioned at a proximal section of the rasp and configured to be gripped in use to facilitate movement of the rasping surface to decorticate bone; and
