Abstract

Provided are a method in which a source base station (BS) transmits a Quality of Service (QoS) flow-to-data radio bearer (DRB) mapping rule to a target BS in a wireless communication system, and a device supporting the same. The method may include: receiving, from a user equipment (UE), a measurement result of a target cell; determining the handover of the UE to the target BS on the basis of the measurement result; and transmitting, to the target BS, a handover request message including a QoS flow-to-DRB mapping rule of the source BS.

Claims (20)

1. A method for a source base station in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:

transmitting, to a target base station, a handover request message including information related to a quality of service (QoS) flow-to-data radio bearer (DRB) mapping of the source base station; and

receiving, from the target base station, a handover request acknowledge message in response to the handover request message, wherein the handover request acknowledge message includes information informing the source base station that the QoS flow-to-DRB mapping of the source base station is used at the target base station.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the QoS flow-to-DRB mapping includes mapping a DRB to one or more QoSs.

3. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

controlling data forwarding from the source base station to the target base station based on the received information included in the handover request acknowledge message.

4. The method of claim 1 , wherein a handover to the target base station is determined based on the received information.

5. The method of claim 1 , wherein a QoS flow includes a QoS profile.

6. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

initiating a handover based on a measurement result, received from a wireless device, of at least one target cell served by the target base station.

7. A source base station in a wireless communication system, the source base station comprising:

a memory; a transceiver; and

a processor, operatively connected with the memory and the transceiver, wherein the source base station is configured to:

transmit, to a target base station, a handover request message including information related to a quality of service (QoS) flow-to-data radio bearer (DRB) mapping of the source base station; and

receiving, from the target base station, a handover request acknowledge message in response to the handover request message, wherein the handover request acknowledge message includes information, informing the source base station that the QoS flow-to-DRB mapping of the source base station is used at the target base station.

8. The source base station of claim 7 , wherein the QoS flow-to-DRB mapping includes mapping a DRB to one or more QoSs.

9. The source base station of claim 7 , wherein the source base station is further configured to initiate a handover based on a measurement result, received from a wireless device, of at least one target cell served by the target base station.

10. The source base station of claim 7 , wherein the source base station is further configured to control data forwarding from the source base station to the target base station based on the received information included in the handover request acknowledge message.

11. The source base station of claim 7 , wherein a handover to the target base station is determined based on the received information included in the handover request acknowledge message.

12. The source base station of claim 7 , wherein a QoS flow includes a QoS profile.
