Abstract

Systems and methods for providing a healthcare provider with an electronic medical record of a patient, a recommendation, or an alert relating to the patient, based on an analysis of the patient's health data. Multiple electronic repositories may store the patient's health data as disaggregated health data. The patient's health data may be organized in a Healthcare Identity Graph providing a comprehensive medical history of the user. A device of the patient may access and analyze the patient's health data in response to detecting an event. The device can generate outputs or trigger actions based on the analysis of the patient's health data, and record the outputs or actions in the patient's Healthcare Identity Graph. Authentication and verification of the outputs or actions are stored at a Healthcare Liability Graph.

Claims (69)

1. A computer-implemented method comprising:

obtaining, by a wireless device of a user, data indicating a potential healthcare event associated with the user, the data comprising a date on which one or more medical services associated with the healthcare event were provided to the user;

determining, by the wireless device, one or more physical locations of the wireless device on the date of the healthcare event;

calculating, by the wireless device, a probability that the healthcare event is valid, wherein calculating the probability that the healthcare event is valid comprises:

determining, by the wireless device, whether the physical location of the wireless device was determined based on location data acquired from (i) a first network source having a first level of precision or (ii) a second network source having a second level of precision, wherein the second level of precision is higher than the first level of precision; and

in response, decreasing the probability that the potential healthcare event is valid if the physical location of the wireless device was determined based on location data acquired from the first network source;

confirming a validity of the potential healthcare event by determining, by the wireless device, that the probability meets or exceeds a probability threshold; and

in response to determining that the probability meets or exceeds a probability threshold, transmitting, by the wireless device, the healthcare event to one or more electronic devices.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein calculating a probability that the potential healthcare event is valid comprises:

obtaining, by the wireless device, one or more addresses associated with one or more healthcare providers; and

comparing, by the wireless device, the one or more physical locations of the wireless device to the one or more addresses associated with the one or more healthcare providers to provide a comparison result; and

determining, by the wireless device, the probability that the potential healthcare event is valid based on the comparison result.

3. The method of claim 2 , wherein comparing the physical location of the wireless device to the one or more addresses associated with the one or more healthcare providers comprises:

determining, by the wireless device, one or more addresses corresponding to the one or more physical locations of the wireless device; and

comparing, by the wireless device, the one or more addresses corresponding to the one or more physical locations of the wireless device to each address of the one or more addresses associated with the one or more healthcare providers; and

determining, by the wireless device, that an address of the one or more addresses corresponding to the one or more physical locations of the wireless device corresponds to an address of the one or more addresses associated with the one or more healthcare providers.

4. The method of claim 3 , wherein calculating a probability that the potential healthcare event is valid further comprises:

determining, by the wireless device, that the user has previously visited the healthcare provider associated with the address; and

in response, increasing the probability that the potential healthcare event is valid.

5. The method of claim 1 , wherein calculating the probability that the potential healthcare event is valid comprises:

determining that the wireless device transmitted data indicating the user's presence at a location associated with a healthcare provider on the date on which one or more medical services associated with the potential healthcare event were provided to the user; and

in response, increasing the probability that the potential healthcare event is valid.

6. The method of claim 1 , wherein calculating the probability that the potential healthcare event is valid comprises:

determining, by the wireless device, that an electronic calendar associated with the user comprises an entry corresponding to the date on which one or more medical services associated with the healthcare event were provided to the user; and

in response, increasing the probability that the potential healthcare event is valid.

7. The method of claim 1 , wherein:

determining, by the wireless device, whether the physical location of the wireless device was determined based on the location data acquired from (i) the first network source having the first level of precision or (ii) the second network source having the second level of precision comprises determining that the physical location of the wireless device was determined based on location data acquired from the first network source; and

wherein the first network source is a cellular network.

8. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

generating, by the wireless device, a request for a user confirmation of the potential healthcare event; and

receiving, by the wireless device, the user confirmation that the potential healthcare event is valid.

9. The method of claim 8 , wherein receiving the user confirmation increases the probability that the potential healthcare event is valid.

10. The method of claim 8 , wherein the request is generated based at least in part on a determination that the probability that the potential healthcare event is valid is below a probability threshold.

11. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

determining, by the wireless device and based at least in part on the data related to the potential healthcare event, an electronic medical record associated with the potential healthcare event; and

in response to determining that the probability meets or exceeds a probability threshold, transmitting, by the wireless device, the electronic medical record associated with the potential healthcare event to one or more electronic devices.

12. The method of claim 11 , wherein determining an electronic medical record associated with the healthcare event comprises:

obtaining, by the wireless device from a storage device external to the wireless device, an electronic medical record;

calculating, by the wireless device and based at least in part on the data indicating the potential healthcare event, a second probability, the second probability indicating a likelihood that the potential healthcare event correctly matches the electronic medical record; and

determining, by the wireless device, that the second probability meets or exceeds a probability threshold.

13. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

providing, by the wireless device to a third party, access to a subset of electronic medical record data based on a role associated with the third party, the subset of electronic medical record data consisting of less than all of the data contained in the electronic medical record.

14. The method of claim 13 , wherein the subset of electronic medical record data is provided in response to receiving, by the wireless device, a request to access medical records, the request comprising authentication information.

15. The method of claim 1 , wherein the first network source is a Wi-Fi network, and

wherein determining whether the physical location of the wireless device was determined based on location data acquired from (i) the first network source having the first level of precision or (ii) the a second network source having the second level of precision comprises determining that the physical location of the wireless device was determined based on data acquired from the first network source.

16. The method of claim 1 , wherein the second network source is a global positioning system, and

wherein determining, by the wireless device, whether the physical location of the wireless device was determined based on location data acquired from (i) the first network source having the first level of precision or (ii) the a second network source having the second level of precision comprises determining that the physical location of the wireless device was determined based on coordinates acquired from the global positioning system.

The method of claim 16 , comprising increasing the probability that the potential healthcare event is valid or maintaining the probability that the potential healthcare event is valid in response to determining that the physical location of the wireless device was determined based on coordinates acquired from the global positioning system.

18. The method of claim 1 , wherein:

the first level of precision of the first network source is a first spatial resolution;

the second level of precision of the second network source is a second spatial resolution; and

the second spatial resolution is higher than the first spatial resolution.

19. A non-transitory computer-readable storage device storing software comprising instructions executable by one or more computers which, upon such execution, cause the one or more computers to perform operations comprising:

obtaining, by a wireless device of a user, data indicating a potential healthcare event associated with the user, the data comprising a date when one or more medical services associated with the healthcare event were provided to the user;

determining, by the wireless device, one or more physical locations of the wireless device on the date associated with the healthcare event;

calculating, by the wireless device, a probability that the healthcare event is valid, wherein calculating the probability that the healthcare event is valid comprises:

determining, by the wireless device, whether the physical location of the wireless device was determined based on location data acquired from (i) a first network source having a first level of precision or (ii) a second network source having a second level of precision; and

in response, decreasing the probability that the potential healthcare event is valid if the physical location of the wireless device was determined based on location data acquired from the first network source;

confirming a validity of the potential healthcare event by determining, by the wireless device, that the probability meets or exceeds a probability threshold; and

in response to determining that the probability meets or exceeds a probability threshold, transmitting, by the wireless device, the healthcare event to one or more electronic devices.

20. A system comprising:

one or more computers and one or more storage devices storing instructions that are operable, when executed by the one or more computers, to cause the one or more computers to perform operations comprising:

obtaining, by a wireless device of a user, data indicating a potential healthcare event associated with the user, the data comprising a date when one or more medical services associated with the healthcare event were provided to the user;

determining, by the wireless device, one or more physical locations of the wireless device on the date associated with the healthcare event;

calculating, by the wireless device, a probability that the healthcare event is valid, wherein calculating the probability that the healthcare event is valid comprises:

determining, by the wireless device, whether the physical location of the wireless device was determined based on location data acquired from (i) a first network source having a first level of precision or (ii) a second network source having a second level of precision; and

in response, decreasing the probability that the potential healthcare event is valid if the physical location of the wireless device was determined based on location data acquired from the first network source;

confirming a validity of the potential healthcare event by determining, by the wireless device, that the probability meets or exceeds a probability threshold; and

in response to determining that the probability meets or exceeds a probability threshold, transmitting, by the wireless device, the healthcare event to one or more electronic devices.
