Abstract

A portable terminal includes an extraction unit and a display control unit. The extraction unit extracts a part of a display image displayed on a touch panel display, as an extraction image used as a compositing target image. The display control unit, in a case where a plurality of regions having different areas are included in the extraction image used as the compositing target image, removes at least one of the plurality of regions in order of area based on an operation amount of an operation input by a user.

Claims (47)

1. An image processing apparatus comprising:

a memory; and

a processor coupled to the memory and a display, the processor configured to:

extract a part of a display image displayed on a display, as an extraction image; and

in a case where a plurality of regions having different areas are included in the extraction image, remove at least one of the plurality of regions in order of area based on an operation amount of an operation input by a user.

2. The image processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein

the processor is further configured to

set the extraction image displayed on the display unit as a compositing target image,

generate a composite image in which the compositing target image is composited in a selection image selected by the user, and

display the composite image on the display unit.

3. The image processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein

the processor is further configured to display an operation display for allowing the user to input the operation on the display.

4. The image processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein

the processor is further configured to remove a part or an entirety of a region as instructed by the user in the extraction image.

5. The image processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein

the processor is further configured to

display a specifying frame for specifying a partial region in the display image and a color designation mark for designating a reference color from colors included in an image in the specifying frame, in superposition with the display image, and

extract an image corresponding to the reference color designated by the color designation mark from the image in the specifying frame, as the extraction image.

6. The image processing apparatus according to claim 5 , wherein

the color designation mark is displayed in the specifying frame, and a relative positional relationship between the specifying frame and the color designation mark is predetermined.

7. The image processing apparatus according to claim 5 , wherein

the processor is further configured to

receive a size change instruction for enlarging or reducing the specifying frame, and

perform control for changing a size of the specifying frame in accordance with the received size change instruction.

8. The image processing apparatus according to claim 5 , wherein

the processor is further configured to

receive a movement instruction for moving a position of the specifying frame, and

perform control for moving the position of the specifying frame in accordance with the received movement instruction.

9. The image processing apparatus according to claim 5 , wherein

the processor is further configured to display an indicator that has a larger area than the color designation mark and that represents the reference color.

10. The image processing apparatus according to claim 5 , wherein

the processor is further configured to quantify gradation of an entire image in the specifying frame and extract an image in which a numerical value of gradation is within a reference color range including a numerical value of gradation to which the reference color corresponds, as the extraction image.

11. The image processing apparatus according to claim 10 , wherein

the processor is further configured to allow the user to set the reference color range.

12. An imaging apparatus comprising:

a camera that images a subject; and

the image processing apparatus according to claim 1 .

13. The imaging apparatus according to claim 12 , wherein

live view display of a display image is performed on the display.

14. An image processing method executed by a computer, comprising:

extracting a part of a display image displayed on a display, as an extraction image; and

in a case where a plurality of regions having different areas are included in the extraction image, removing at least one of the plurality of regions in order of area based on an operation amount of an operation input by a user.

15. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing an image processing program causing a computer to execute a process, the process comprising:

extracting a part of a display image displayed on a display, as an extraction image; and

in a case where a plurality of regions having different areas are included in the extraction image, removing at least one of the plurality of regions in order of area based on an operation amount of an operation input by a user.

16. The image processing apparatus according to claim 3 , wherein

the operation display is a slider, and the operation amount of the operation input by the user is determined based on a position of the slider.
